Annika's mission begins : "Make Shivaay hate me and kick me out."
As much as she tries , and trust me she hits the right buttons like a jackpot. She knows exactly what his weakpoints are. The poignancy is that she does it without fighting him.
"I'll fight the whole world, but I can't fight you..."
That scene in the kitchen had tears just leaking out of my eyes like an unstoppable tap. She collects memories of him in a video clip : Shivaay cooking, smiling, flirting , doing his hair flip.
"You talking as though I'm about to leave you."
She softly says "Chale hi jahoon?" and watch his face change. He's been getting lots of these, "Goodbye, I'm leaving soon" type of quips. You can see he hates them, he looks a little ill each time.
She's collecting memories of him, for when she leaves him. Smiles, his sweet words about her. He is imagining her older with white hair and no teeth, and still being cute.
And there I was leaking fluid from my eyes. Gah.
He tells her a big responsibility is lifting from his head today, and she quips about it being her. (my heart can't take these continuous hits Harneet !) He gives her a dark look, not amused at all.
"Tum mere liye bohot important hoon, Annika. Tum mere..."
"Zimmedari...? Zimmedari ke liye, goli khaa sakti?"
(Catch the hints Shivaay, she's saying goodbye... )
But he wants to sign over shares to OmRu, because both are married men now and should be given their share. He gives 50% of his to them and had instructed Khanna to get them signed off by the Board.
Annika took those papers , to use to create trouble. Khanna looks troubled and Annika exchanges a look with him while she sets stage for the show.
What a show. Annika gave a stellar show of spouting poison against his selfish family. Pinky watches gleefully at everyone's reactions.
"You do so much for them. You stand like a shield to protect them at all times. Their problems are yours. But when YOU have a problem, they never stand by you. You're always alone. "
Such a bitter pill of truth all this. He can't even rebut it as rude because she is defending him. So he calls it nonsense to stop her. "You know what my family means to me , Annika!? I'd do anything for them."
I watched each one face of the spectators watching this fight. None are contrite or ashamed. Perhaps she is warning the others (sans Pinky) to stand up for Shivaay and help him when stormy seas approach.
"You work so hard and built this company. Both of them aren't interested the slightest ,yet you give them half? "
Shivaay explodes, that he'd give them ALL of it if he wanted to. And she is no one to decide for them. He is angry, but he steps up and asks softly, "Why are you doing this? You love OmRu as much as I do. Why?"
(Ask yourself, Shivaay. Your brain is as overboiled as your pasta. Think. Why would she be doing her best to make you angry. Few days ago you would've yelled at her by now. WHY? )
"I'm looking out for YOU, Shivaay. "
that's the biggest hint she could give. Maybe she should have said "Oye Oye". Someday soon all these subtle hints are going to hit him on the head like a club.
Annika walks away leaving the fam gaping at her Angry Avatar. Silently perhaps ,because of the bitter aftertaste of truth in her words.
Only Pinky shamelessly put her 2Rps worth in it. "See, I told you, your wife must be an equal to your NKK, this girl is not a worthy partner to you!!"
Annika just looks back silently at him. He searches her face, the lack of reactionary anger is interesting. He's trying to figure her out, he knows she isn't like this. "What's she up to? "
Annika walks away. None of her plans are working. She is riling him up, but he isn't reacting.
Kamini saunters in and is met by a resentful Shakti. He seems to know her bloodthirsty and greedy ways well, and is not at all entranced by her.
This plot is unravelling. Shakti and Kamini have no love lost, but a secret shared. And it doesn't seem outwardly matching to what Pinky said to Annika. Kamini blackmails Shakti with the truth, and the man's anger turns to pain.
"Don't hurt my Shivaay ,please" he pleads. Finally a parent who loves the son. I have been waiting so long to see Shakti, and he was really good today. Finally. His secret is very intriguing.
Pinky sees and misinterprets the duo, Annika watches it all. Realizing that Pinky is a pitiful creature carrying so much pain and spite, she cries with the unfairness upon Shivaay's head.
How will Annika save Shivaay from this? If she's gone , will Pinky rally for her son against Kamini? web of blackmailing all-around. There is no peace around Shivaay.
"Shivaay is in my heart and soul for always. (You can't take that from me) , whatever happens, I will always be his. What do You have?"
"i hope you let him live in peace after I'm gone"
Sounded like a threat. She may rise again if Shivaay is threatened. I think she pitied Pinky, all she has is her son, and she cannot find it in herself to be generous that he's happy.
I doubt Pinky has a single repentant bone in her body. She will shamelessly accept her victory and continue manipulating her son.
Precap: it's either Annika takes liquid courage ,to tell him all of the truth, throwing caution to the winds.
or Shivaay tries to intoxicate her to find out why she is behaving like this. Both ways I like.
(MY gut feeling is she'll do one more big drama just to get him to explode, and vanish quickly, not giving him time to recover and say sorry)
Time lapse is upon us.
