I honestly feel Meghna's reactions make the most sense to me.
I wasn't able to relate to Kunal at all. To me what Karan said to him was very apt. He barely knows Karan. So how can he so quickly judge whether he is in love or not? I feel the same with Naina.
For me the writers rushed Kunal's understanding of Nairan being in love to expect Meghna to really understand that he has a valid point. I get that they want to fast track things... so mostly I am okay with it. But for someone who didn't even know his brother had a disease to start playing love guru is a bit odd. First he should've figured out what Karan actually has. Whether its curable or not. How its spread etc. Then he should've confirmed his suspicions of love with Naina. Going to Karan first wasn't right. What if he was wrong? That would've destroyed Karan.
And frankly speaking just being in love may not be enough in a disease like this. I just feel like Kunal wasn't paying attention to what it actually meant for Naina's life. If this was Kyathi and she told him she was in love with a guy that had a disease like this.. would he be so gung ho about her marrying him? Or would he have sat her down and discussed the pros and cons? That if this guy doesn't get better can you handle it for 30 years?
The other issue has been Naina's lack of honesty-- mostly with herself. Meghna is doing what she is doing believing that Karan and Naina are just friends. Because that's what they've told her. If Naina wants out of Meghna's lakshman rekha she should say it. Don't try to pretend to yourself you are still keeping it by using a ladder😆. So I can't really fault Meghna for interfering... not when Naina isn't telling her differently. I feel like Meghna was bang on today when she asked Naina if she is really that oblivious because this isn't friendship.
Anyways hopefully the dynamic changes tomorrow since Karan and Naina are meeting out in the open.
