Katrina Kaif is a 'warrior': Vicky Kaushal opens up on wife’s pregnancy and gushes over 3-month-old son Vihaan

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have been overjoyed since the birth of their son, Vihaan, in November 2025. On their fourth wedding anniversary, Vicky shared that they've been sleep-deprived but incredibly happy and grateful. At a recent event, the Uri actor described his three-month-old son and praised Katrina, calling himself a cheerleader while acknowledging her strength as a warrior throughout her pregnancy and motherhood journey.

Vicky praises Katrina Kaif

At a recent event hosted by The Hollywood Reporter India, Neha Dhupia asked Vicky Kaushal, "How is it being a brand new dad?" Vicky responded, "He is three months old right now, there's very little a dad has to do when the baby is three months old, I'm just trying to be a cheerleader and I'm waiting for him to grow up so I can contribute more."

Vicky Kaushal also praised Katrina Kaif, saying, "Right now, the mother is being the superhero and she has been a warrior through her pregnancy and she has been a warrior as a mother as well. I'm so incredibly proud of her and I love her so much."

Vicky on becoming a father

Previously, in an interview with GQ India, Vicky had discussed this new chapter in his life, stating, "Becoming a father this year is my biggest moment of 2025. It is a magical feeling. I always felt that when the time came, I would be very emotional and ecstatic, but it has actually been the most grounding moment that I have ever experienced in my life."

Vicky and Katrina’s wedding

Following their dreamy wedding in Rajasthan on December 9, 2021, at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal welcomed their son in November 2025.

Sharing the joyous news on Instagram, the couple wrote, "Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy. 7th November 2025." Adding to their happiness, the couple has been embracing parenthood with open arms, often sharing glimpses of their life as a family.
