And why I follow your shows at time though not regularly is you believe that true love is for keeps ex IPKKND or Tanhaiya . Lovers live or die together not at the mercy of TRP mata unlike the other one. Please do not change! I actually dislike today's television industry because of this...it has regressed...fans have become too possessive...there was a time when kashish genuinely fell in love and moved on with a nice guy(kahin toh hoga)...similar stuff happened in kaisa hai pyaar hai...now no matter how much the female lead has been wronged by the male lead she will not move on...ekta kapoor had the guts to pit real competitors against sujal and angad,had the guts to show the female leads falling in love with them...gul does not show that courage.

oh...add anurag prerna rishab to that list...I remember how prerna while happily hugging her husband rishab had shown a heartbroken anurag the door..that was pretty cool...can we see a khushi or anika doing this?no.

I think the idea is to be different from the current times. In those days .. People had the idea of sticking to the marriage , no matter what . Where divorce was a taboo. And moving on was considered an extra marital affair even if the couple had divorced . So then they made series like these where they showed its okay to move on . Okay to have soembody else .

But today .. Its so easy for us to move on from a relationship . Having multiple affairs , divorce is so common . I am not saying its bad .. When u are unhappy and tortured in your love . So the cvs try to come up with concepts of true love , fighting for your love , till death do us apart kinda love .

Thus its always a try from the cvs part to be different .

I think Sujal and Angad show's worked because during that time there was not much of Internet popularity of shows and online fandoms compare to now.

I mean look at the use of excessive social media, fans interacts with actors more often and keep themselves updated with every little detail of show. This makes the connection between fans and its favourite Jodi strong lol. Thats concept of shipping couples was not famous back then.

Therefore producers can't take risk to show, what they showed in the era of 2003-2008.

P.S. Ppl hate Kashish for being so cruel to Sujal lol. 😆

This is because fans r too much possesive about the couple..and they like the chemistry and romance...whereas in that era the audiences were trp aunties /old generation who loved drama...now im sure ekta kapoor also wont separate her present shows couple permanently...becoz the audiences have changed and they like romance

Audience wanted Matured love stories, where the couple grow out of difference and work it out...They dont want routine Saas Bahu crap...
