is this heralding the return of khidkitod smart Annika? or tragically misunderstood superwoman Bahu Annika?
First off she looked defeated. going to Shivaay and trying to get a last moment from him before she is gone from his life.
"I'll only be gone for an hour Annika.."
"When time is short, even that is too long to spare.."
I bet the guy is on alert after watching her mood changes.
"I'll miss you , a lot." she says, totally out of character. He smiles, reassures but I hope he gets hints that something is amiss.
(If Khanna can set up spycam to watch Ranveer and Kamini what's to say he's not keeping an eye on Annika too. Something is up with her I hope he watches her)
He smiles at her candor, "now you'll miss me, what about last night when you ran away from our room?"
She avoids the topic and he asks her to please get on this track... She avoids again. He goes quickly and plants a noisy smooch on her cheek. She is stunned and he had to hold her steady.
"I'll come back in an hour, We'll celebrate sangeet and then our first night. Hmm?" He promised and leaves with a smirk. She is left with a smile until it wiped out by Pinky.
Annika was a breaking point. She hates having to give up the man she loves, who cares for her too.
"What do I do.. " her tears are painful and wretched. It feels like she'd given up, saying her goodbyes to his clothes , each one with a memory. That smile and cry combo was really something, left me heavy hearted.
Then she found a newly inserted flashback tied to Shivaay's wristwatch. She recalls hearing Mrs K walk about Daima and Om's secret. Suddenly she has a plan, and she looks distracted.
Pinky meets with Kamini, and they clash horns. Both are arrogant and unyielding both there for self serving purposes. Kamini mocks Pinky for being so proud of her son Shivaay, when she has no leverage with him at all.
Pinky and Kamini are two mums locking horns and using their kids: Pinky uses Shivaay, Kamini uses Ranveer. And both men are more steadfast to their wives now that their prejudices/revenge plots. They are going to find these two men not standing by them at all with their hate.
To me it looks like Pinky has proof Shivaay is hers, by extension Mahi. Dunno where this is going, but Kamini is not their mother. To talk of Shivaay as her son, they both didn't mention Mahi at all.
Ranveer wants his wife. Shivaay is valiantly keeping his wife close too, giving her credit in front of his family. That little scene honouring her as Bahu was a salve for the humiliation she was given before.
Marriage is to be protected, one should not let small mistakes break it.
Annika goes to Tia for help. I think it's about Daima video. not sure if it is Daima under that veil, because she looked like a small sized person.
Gauri? So Badi bahu wins more points for her place in the family. even Shakti is happy with her now.
Okay... So Annika has taken a different track to prove Shivaay is Pinky's son. She will want to show that the actual illegitimate one isn't Shivaay but as Mrs K rightly or wrongly put it, Om. Must get Daima to say who first. Her aim is to stop Pinky's poisonous hate, but it may backfire on her.
i wish she could tell someone what's going on, so when shit hits the fan someone can vouch for her.
Now that's what I fear. After all the trouble Shivaay went to hide Om's secret, he will blow a fuse if Annika brought this up and threatened his brother's position in the family.
OMG. Now Pinky's spoiler video dialogue about Annika threatening his brother makes sense.(InstaVideo) .. If Annika accidentally exposes Om as illegitimate, he will flip BIG TIME.
Oh boy.
But I must say, Shivaay will try hard to make sense of this first , what a confusing plot. Her goodbyes today felt very momentous and moving. Left a big ball of dread in me.
