Speculations around the Bollywood debut of Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khatter refuse to die down. Though Ishaan recently wrapped up Majid Majidi's movie Beyond the Clouds, in terms of Bollywood, his first movie is yet to be announced.
Rumours have been rife that both the youngsters will star in the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat. While there was no official confirmation about it, reports have it that this is now confirmed.
According to a report in a daily, both Jhanvi and Ishaan's debut film is now confirmed and it is indeed the Sairat remake. The movie will be helmed by Shashank Khaitan, who directed both Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead.
The movie's music would be composed by Ajay-Atul who did music for Dharma Productions' Agneepath.
Interestingly, both Ishaan and Jhanvi have been spotted together attending screenings and events. Recently, the two attended the special screening of Baywatch, sparking rumours of their debut film together. Not only on professional terms, reports of them being involved personally too have hit the web. Media is abuzz with the news of the two being more than good friends.
Whether that is true or no is something that we shall know in a while. But we just cannot wait for them to start their first film in Bollywood together.
