Well...acting of course first and foremost.
But I look for other things in an actress too. I live in the west and enjoy fashion. It is mostly always a parade of people who do not look like me. So it is enjoyable indeed to see an Ash or a DP or a Sonam on the red carpet in Cannes. Also, things like makeup and what products they use are immensely helpful to narrow down. DP especially is similar to my skin tone, so very helpful. And I love to see how they do Indian clothes in the rare cases I want to do so, sari especially. DP is my fashion role model. I have friends for whom Anushaka or Sonam are.
