The Sister Theory- OBahus

Hi Everyone!!

So exams have just finished today and can I say I have enjoyed IB-DBO fully after a very long break 😆 Celebrations were in full swing!

The episode was absolutely fabulous! I doubt anyone holds a differing stance 😳

Again illogical consistencies- Where did Svet appear from when she was taken away and how were the police taking their sweet time 😕 AND why did Bua Ma or Jhanvi not speak of the fact that GauriKa's relationship was forced! Nobody seemed to bring that up!

Anyhoo the ShivIka quota was throught the roof today!!! 🤪 TOO TOO CUTE! I was blushing throughout! And HAWWW Shivaay ko sharam bhi nahi aaya bara buzargo ke samne romance sooj raha tha! 😆

Rudra was AMAZING- I am just glad he's back! Honestly he brings character to the OM- I feel pretty annoyed at the suspension of the RumYa track- Not because I don't like the new girl- but because we are being put through the same cyclical story- Mansi is playing a POOR girl who is afraid of boys and as Bollywoodlife has noted, it is because Neha opted out of the show? Wasn't she just not being given a role? Anyways bringing it back to the fact that all the lady-loves of the brothers are poor is just playing into that clich! The girls were meant to be a direct attack on their vices! Anika directly targets Shivaay's harmatia (character flaw) the fact that he cannot see beyond NKK! Gauri similarly polar opposite to Om- who views everything purely in black OR white, as Dadi said in the first episode to Om that a few lies are necessary in life and Gauri is exactly what shall initiate the less regid stance on life!

Now Saumya being overweight challenged Rudra's notion of beauty- beauty lies within as was again addressed by Dadi in the first episode- his fixation of looks was being broken by his feelings towards someone who he conventionally wouldn't go for! Now with his new ladylove being slim and trim- and poor I just don't see how it attacks his character flaws?

Lastly let's address the SISTER THEORY- So we (meaning me) have come up with the idea that Anika's Chutki is none other than Gauri- but I had expected them to feel some sort of connection on the first meet like they had over the phone? Yes, their relation was nothing short of Khidkitod but I cannot imagine GulNeet not specifically addressing their bond beyond SIL! Something dramatic was ought to happen if they were in fact sisters- so now I'm questioning, will Rudra's lady love be Anika's Chutki? Knowing how melodramatic Indian serials are I cannot doubt the fact that Chutki will definitely be one of the SIL's!

Any thoughts?

@ bold: I think they changed the track. Originally it was supposed to be the girl opposite Omkaara to be Chutki, but now I think they have scrapped that and I think Rudras new girl will be chutki!! The fact that, that "ehsaas" was not addressed today, means they definitely changed the track...

If the new girl is chutki, it's definitely means no more Sumo😭

Ps. I enjoyed the AnRi bond today!!

Aah I watched the episode and Rudra says: "you two could be sisters" and that makes me question once more whether it is in fact Gauri who is Anika's Chutki- I haven't watched the introduction on Bhavya but I think it shall fade in comparison to RuMya chemistry- but we shall have to wait and see until Anika and Bhavya come face to face- I think that's when we'll know who Chutki is unless the CV's decide to explicitly state it (which I highly doubt) 😆

I really loved this mahasangam,mostly the first episode where Rudra was in full on in his character really missed these types of epis, Now coming to the sister theory I always wanted Omkara's opposite to be chutki Don't know why? But still It is my wish But this Harneet is manupulating with our minds. You are totally right in the first episode of DOB I really felt the connection between Annika and Gauri ! it was giving me a homely feeling and I really waited for them to meet each other but when they met here I didn't got the that feeling which I got in the first epi So I'm a little clueless about is Gauri Chutki? But Shivaay and rudra themselfs said that they are behaving like own sisters,Well I don't except much from Harneet and she is can change anything at teh last moment bt still at last I hope Gauri be Chutki and Rudra's opposite --- Hmmm.. they didn't show much of her character till now So I will just wait and watch What is store for the future.

I wish the Mahasangam situation was permanent rather than a temporary 5 day gift- it felt so much nicer, warmer, one would say seamless! It has a bit of everyone and I just loved the unappreciated relationships which are not given enough run time I.e. AniKara and ShivRi, family interactions are such fun in addition to the luv-shuv overdose 😆 I REALLY want Chutki to be Gauri and not Rudra's other half- mainly because they already carry similar characteristics-and Bhavya just seems not as CHULBULI enough 😆 their storylines coincide well- both orphans etc HARNEET please don't let us down with this- kicking Somu to the kurb has already messed with us Ibians as it is- just give us what we want
