What happened today for me was atrocious beyond repair ... " kuch big hojaye yeh Yaad rakhna Hum Saath the saath hai air saath rahenge haneshaa"bilkul darna Nahi... what a joke that statement was /is
It should have come with an add on " as long as you shut your mouth and deal with all and do not blame my mom dad brothers and who ever ,you are my family but you are not that family . Please play family when I wAnt you to and the way I want you to ... I trust you I know you will always speak the truth but I will believe everyone else even NT (ur fake mom)over you when it comes to mine meaning my family ".

Seriously guys this is the redeemed Shivaay ... if this is redemption may be we will have to redefine the meaning of it ... OMG I understand it is his mother but what happened to him when he directly told Anika that I am relieved that you do not have that woman's blood in you ... I mean you can get away with talking about some ones mom like that fake or otherwise and it's ok but if your mom is worse than that even with NKK who gets the vile end from Mom and son the one who speaks the truth ...yeah now I believe he cannot be anyone else other than Pinky's son .

I did not like this Shivaay at all in today's episode even with I genuinely feel bad for what I said but she must have misunderstood my mom but never why would she say such things about my mom when till today she put up with all silently . Hell I believe NT's version of truth thAn my own wife's...

They can do all Functions throw in romance etc but you know the die hard fan of IB that I was it does not matter to me anymore . IB is just another glorified saas bahu saga .

Forgive my rant I cannot stomach this anymore today . Yeah it's a TV series but it did leave a profound impact on me today . Hope they change the story line if not they are killing it with a slow poison called Pinky and injecting it with an instrument called Shivaay. Do not want to acknowledge Omari or anyone else as usual they were all silent spectators saying as long as it's not me receiving end of all the wrath we are good .

I know I think even jasoosi was No not needed in om only pinky hates Anika.so she must be with naintara.its shivaay s weakness he cnt bear truth. omkara should have scolded Billu .I did nt like him also.may be he is too tensed abt gouri

i get your point. What happened to Annika was horrible.

What she found out was, that her husband's mother, paid someone to act as the mother who abandoned her as a child. Dressed up her lineage to look at it's worst so Shivaay would have a problem with her as his wife. But it didn't work.

Gave her Michmichi feelings about being the daughter of such a greedy unsavoury money grabbing character. She has notions her mother would be honorable and of good character, and this was not what she imagined.

it was a violation against HER. No one defended her but herself. Shivaay didn't see that part where she had to defend herself from this fake mother, on top of that NT wants to accuse her of separating Shivaay from his mother.

Shivaay did shut NT up. Annika is also his family. He exposed NT as a fake and for kidnapping Sahil. Called cops to take her away.

Who went to her after? No one. She went to Pinky to be bashed on the head, and then Shivaay, and got more hurt from the one person who said he'd be by her side no matter what. (No matter what, evidently meant as long as it isn't about my family)

Then she sat alone. Again, all alone. And a total stranger came like a sister to her. Kindness comes from unexpected places. But it remains that Annika is having a bigger struggle than Shivaay in this marriage.

He struggles to be rid of his NKK prejudice.

She has to struggle for acceptance on the face of pure hatred and malice, holding the hand of the man who stands on the fence.

Sorry if this sounds different from my own post, but Annika's pov has to be felt too...😭

very nice post Anisa, that is how most of us who love Anika character felt too, that is why i made posts that she should gave walked out with Sahil, before she is abused even more... everybody talk about it is his mom Anika was blaming, one question bothering me , is she not his wife that he has to defend and protect... When his family hated him for what he did to marry her, rather than using that against him, she supported him and told them it is their issue they will resolve it...

Believe me I sat crying over Annika's pain for an hour before trying to write objectively.

Annika doesn't deserve this. She stayed on the faith of his promise, because she loved him. Simple as that. She loves him and she stays. Love is unselfish and needy too. She needs him and wants to be with him too, you can't blame the girl for reaching out to the man if he held his hand out to her.

But if I were her, after what Pinky said , I know this place is no longer safe for me and my little brother. I would go. Let Shivaay deal with it.

anisa thank you for this post - the issue is that no one gives a damn about anika's point of view. shivaay is an amazing husband according to everyone but he is the one who didnt even go back to apologize. anika went, when clearly she was more hurt - i personally feel that a separation is needed now for him to treat her with dignity at all times which till now has been happening at his whims and fancies and terms and conditions, i hope i made some sense 😉

and the fact that a complete stranger like gauri was the one comforting her and not her husband! its such a mess, emotional mess - for me this love story is not takkar ki when things are always according to shivaay and his happiness, his family - anika is just supposed to carry along like a rag doll. made a similar comment on asya's post as well

@Anisa the last paragraph of yours summed up my thoughts... that is how Anika was till CVS made ger TRP Bahu... :(

Anisa, lovely analysis on Anika and the aftermath.

@bold blue, so so true... there was no one who went to her or tried to comfort her. her husband turned her away, did not want to talk about it and left her reeling with his cruel taunt.

Loved loved that Gauri came and was a shoulder to cry on, she tried to be brave by withholding the pain, but gave in, to Gauri who became a sister in that second of shared pain and tears,

But yes, Annika's plight left me heavy hearted and hurt. i can see Shivaay's point, but who sees Annika's pain? Who'll protect her from Pinky? When she can't even get him to listen to what she just learnt?

If she were to tell him, "Your mother hates me, and wants me to leave. Let's decide what to do about that. " He will just brush it aside as "Ma ki gaali"

his refusal to address the issue of "who brought Nayantara into the house" makes me think he is contemplating it as a possibility.

But his statement "We don't accuse our mothers, Annika!" shows he may have put some thought but he won't act upon it until he sees it himself.

Enough proof of her behaviour. OmRu told him his mother kicked her out from the hospital , he watched her bully little Sahil with Tia, he heard Jhanvi aunty berate her for not accepting her son's happiness.

i think he will think in private and see more clues and figure it out himself.

I thought sahil was his brother too

Next is ' you can't understand a mother's pain because you don't have one'

Sorry to say but people who have no parents n grew up dying to have a mother or father's love understand such things better

Next is he leaves her alone

Right now annika is all alone, n after that confrontation with pinky, she knows she needs help but SSO is no longer standing as a great wall to protect her.

Now she'll be attacked n manipulated left right and she has no1 to help, believe nor comfort her

Promises are very easily made, but not everyone can keep them! SSO is definitely gonna break his promises towards her, the sad part is the writer cares a damn for annika as a character n she'll never do justice to Annika.
