Thank you for understanding the more complicated aspects of a strong relationship. Its really hard, living with someone who I so broken and scared to admit it. But time heals quickly, and people who love you can actually heal you faster. That has been my experience. Though the scars remain, a crack here and an edgy line there. But I think that is what defines a part of you, those scars.

That is love, isn't it? To be able to see and acknowledge each others flaws and still choose to stand by their side. And wanting each and every part of your better-half is a necessity these days.

Thank you for showering my work with so much love and support. I'm actually working on another ff but I'm stuck on something. I might need your help, so please expect a pm. The thing is that the show seems to be going on the same track as my story would have! Crazy stuff!

Oh and I replied so late because I was too busy to type out this long message! (I'm too lazy!) Sorry!

First off, dosti mein no sorry, no thank you necessary.

And here I go breaking that rule myself by saying sorry for making you think I wasn't super excited about the way your fic was turning out. I am a big believer in creative freedom but also tend to get influenced by things my readers ask for.

What I meant when I said 'the way you like', was for you to be able to give it the sort of conclusion that you had been working towards, as I saw a lot of commentors wanting a bunch of different things from your story. Sorry if I overstepped but it happened and I'm gonna move on from that.

The one thing this story kept bringing me back to, was the Japanese art of kintsugi. It is the art of fixing well used, well loved but broken pottery with a mixture of gold dust and lacquer. The Japanese believe in celebrating one's scars and breaks, because they believe fixing one's mistakes and becoming stronger than before by accepting your flaws and making them a part of you is very important.

Your Omkara reminded me very much of this concept. Being with Gauri would gradually fill his cracks and jagged pieces with the gold dust of their bond and result in something truly spectacular and unique...

Hope that made the tiniest bit of sense... 😕

After reading the last chapter, I got an overwhelming feeling of emotions, some goosebumps, (and I got weepy!) There's something about your depiction of RiKara that really just gets me..so raw, so passionate so beautifully broken(Om), perfectly imperfect, All together, a beautiful disaster.

My most favorite scene has to be the one (last chap) where Gauri tells Om that his problems are hers and they are in this together and then His reply just so beautiful!!
The plot was terrific with a Strong yet fragile Omkara and a fragile yet Strong Gauri and I really think she's stronger than we(and she herself) give her credit for, take last two episodes for instance, she is kicking serious asses yo!
and I really liked Omkara here.. .though he totally had his alpha male moments, there was something really endearing about him,his fight with his inner demons, his passion for Gauri, him finding his solace in her and trying to protect her from his affed up self by pushing her away!
(I know I am just blabbering T.T, sleep deprivation does this to me and also it's 3AM so bare with me please? xD)
Oh so amazingly you penned down an unflinching, heartbreaking, and somehow uplifting story about how loving someone and being loved back can heal your inner wounds, can give you courage to let down your guards and open up and can ultimately FIX YOU!!

I need to mention that I veer toward fiction for solace and for personal enjoyment. But there was something about this fic, something that made me feel warm every time I finished a chapter. Kudos to you and your kickass writing :D (I really need to stop typing now xD)
So glad,I stumbled upon this!!(I am sure I'd be rereading) Thankyou for writing this and giving RiKara what they truly deserve.
Will always be here for you and your write ups, all geared up for the next one!! Hehe ;)
Cheers! xx

PS: Thanks for the shout out Yo! though I thought our Writer-Stalker relationship was going well lol JK Sending you a warm virtual hug 🤗
PPS: Also much thanks for your little motivational speech,it really helped and surprisingly the exam turned out good too, Way better than I expected :D and for last two days I had been sleeping like a dog that's reason I am commenting so late Hahaha! OK bye!

Sending you your sorry and thank you back then!
And you absolutely didn't overstep! Infact, I actually thought about making Gauri hide out in the kitchen or pool somewhere! But then decided against it because I love Mumbai too much!

The Japanese do have one of the best culture and traditions, don't they? And to top it all they are so hard working and also the nation to be hit by the first rays of the sun!

It made sense because that had been exactly what I was aiming for!

OMG!!! I missed you here! Glad you are back!
First, how were your exams? I do hope they went well and you are fine.

Now: oh how I love the kickass Gauri we saw in the start of DBO. Alpha male moments are a must, aren't they? Our heroes can't live without that, can they? I do hope I did justice to the guilty and broken Omkara I wanted to portray who just wanted to keep his soulmate safe and away from his pain.
Opening up to someone you love is eventually supposed to help you find yourself among the puzzle pieces and put yourself together again.

I'm happy you liked the way I ended it. I was actually worried that people might be disappointed with it.
Thank you for your warm words, I've actually been feeling awful today and they made me feel cheerful.

PS: you've earned all the sleep! You can sleep as much as you want given you keep showering me with your encouraging words!
Oh, and don't feel too warm because of my words! The weather is already too hot to handle here!

*hug accepted*
And I'm always here to listen to all your rants. I actually love them!

Awesome story.
I haven't read anything like this about rikara. The dynamics of their relationship, how its changes, omkara perceptions, gauri thoughts and patience, the way you write their every emotion, everything was super fantastic.
Do write more.
