Some wonderful one liners from Rudra Singh Oberoi...typed up half in IF and then lost it...so here goes... He was so peppy, happy go lucky..and gave us a whole lot of gems..with his grins.
1. Aap itni old fashioned kyun ho... SSIL ... SIL bolo...to Anika when she said that Gauri is her devrani. The beauty of Indian language is that the relationships are perfectly defined..whereas the English counterparts only mention the relation not if they are younger or older.. we have chachi, amass, bua for aunts and they each specify a relation whereas Aunt is generic. Patni...meri choti bhabhi ...his first reaction on hearing that Om was married.
2. waise aapka BFF kahan hai Chulbul??? Itni chemistry kaise ...pure din look exchange... and static current..along with catch and fall demo (daily soap ki heroine )... shivaay bhaiya or mujhe laga tha ki Om ka orientation badal gaya hai... maa da ladla big gaya... He had to explain that they thought something was wrong with Om and it was Gauri who was surprised by this revelation...
3. Aap ne apne ghale mein khud phanda dala hai... afsos... ki aap dono ki shaadi jo ho gayi aur ab TV channel bhi badal nahi sakte... aur shaadi shuda aadmi sirf aur sirf diaper badal sakte hain. Bade bhaiya to saade dus ke pehle so jaate hain or Om tho saade dus ke baad hi nikalta hai aur main tho dikhta hi nahi hoon... This is so true..lost all the wonderful bonding between the Obros and their byplay... a promise to us that things will be different from now on...will have to wait and see if the writers deliver on their promise. Also get to see more of Rudra.
AUR yeh NT kaun hai? Kahan disco light aur kahan puja ka diya? This was classic...and his regard for Anika came through clearly..
DNA test...fake shivaay...fake moms...ek ghante ka episode... bahut time hai hamare pass...aap apne Abnormal love story batao... Sure wants to dig in to get all the details from OM on his meeting with Gauri. The writers trolling themselves here.😆
4. Thande thande paani se nahana chahiye... shivaay bhaiya ko Anika bhabhi pakadne ka bahana chahiye. Agar aap ki romance khatam ho gayi ho tho...rasam shuru karein??? haha..wait and watch your bros pull your leg when it is your turn to undergo all the rasams...
omg..pyaar..mein...dhamki...lag raha hai...main tumhe nahi chodungaa...
5. Dono bhai ab paraya dhan ho gaye... pati ban gaye bechaare...
6. bade bhai daantne ke liye aur chote bhai daant khaane ke liye... chota bhai dikhna band ho gaya...aap mujhe chota bhai samaj ke sideline nahi karoge... Loved their bonding after ages..so heartfelt and natural. Looks like the actors also missed it.
7. singlehood enjoy kar raha hoon... ishqbaazi is illogical... Rudra ko ishq ho jaye...aisa ho hi nahi sakta... jo Rudra ki dil ki ghanti baja de...aisi ladki hai hi nahi jo Rudra ko Ishqbaaz bana de. This was a sweet moment between dadi and Rudra.
8. Jaise electronics ke saath user manual aata hai, waise dono bhabhiyon ke saath...ek dictionary bhi aana chahiye...hamey zaroorat pade tho. this was truly EPIC...loved this... Anika's words first and now Gauri are killing the Obros with their unique words... introducing them to a new world. Shivaay looked flabbergasted when he heard Gauri say...ek jaap de deewar pe sat jayee be...Lol...fun to see them struggle to understand what she is saying... Shivaay saying..high five when Gauri showed her hand itching to plant a facer on someone who irked her... even Anika was stumped when she heard Gauri... Lol..
All in all an amazing khidkitod episode that was filled with Obros and the family. Shivika sizzled today in their scenes. Shivaay is going all out to fulfil the promise he made to keep Anika happy always.
Another challenge in the making with the Pyaar confession perhaps .. where will this lead them??
I may have missed out a few. Which one was your fave? Loved his lines in the BR when he went to help Om, Shivaay get ready for the rituals. Tough choice to make as they were all classic Rudra Singh Oberoi. Bring it on.
