Just got to know that Chandra got the Favourite Pati award in SPA2017, meri zindagi jhuth Nikli, as of now, Chandra should get the most ghatiya Pati award😡

Nandini gets the favourite patni award and chalo that's fine.

Btw happy for Rajat and Shweta👏 more to come😃

what makes you think that Nandini deserves to get a favorite patni award??? because she is silently taking all the shit and even,I guess, is able to derive some sort of sadistic pleasure out of it???

It's becuse Nandini is so ghatiya towards herself, Chandra is so ghatiya towards her .

If a woman chooses to be a victim, that by no means makes her a good wife, all it means is that she needs some counselling.

As for the awards, well SP had to make everyone happy, and they did😆 and if we leave alone this track, whose climax is still to be revealed, then both have been a good pati patni to each other. Didn't they vowed to kill each other and have still managed to survive😆

and same here, happy for the actors😃

I sware ya! It's about time Nandini stands up for herself! I love SBP too much to see her getting toasted and fried like this. Chandra to alag level ka kamaal hai. No investigation, no inquiry, Amatya ne bola Nandini murderer hai, 2-4 "too obvious" proofs mile...bas, decision taken! Itna paidal to ACP Pradyuman bhi nahi!

Ek second pehle "I love you Nandini", ek second baad "I cannot stand you Nandini" 😡

And CK is no less! He is the one who keeps pushing the crap "dimag se socho, dil se nahi" isn't it? And yet he is the one who has always contradicted himself in his actions since forever. Nandini ke mamle me he never thinks dimaag se (not even dil se for that matter. It's always ghutne se). He better admit he is heavily biased against her.

Sorry for the rant guys. Today after watching yesterday's episode on Hotstar, I am SO mad at the entire show and the creatives! I am so sure that pleasant precap will be another dampener to our hopes. Damn!

Really how can he be a favourate pati??😡 He should have been given the favourate DHAKKAN award. God even Padmanand has a bit of grey matter inside his brain. Iam sure at the end of the track, in order to prove his NON DHAKKANNESS it will be shown that everything was planned by Chandra to catch Vishakha red handed.

I did not say I that I'm super happy at Nandini being awarded. I said if both cases are to be compared, Nandini is somewhat fine while this can be said that Chandra didn't win favourite pati, Rajat did justice to the character. Where acting smart or brutal or foolish Rajat has nicely portrayed his character. Anyway what you say about Nandini standing up to herself I too remember seeing "Righteousness is what I seek" being Nandini's motto. Clearly that isn't happening now. But to see it from another angle true Nandini should be using her brain, everyone should but the thing is, women empowerment wasn't the case in that era. One word she says about standing up for herself once she gives a piece of her mind to Chandra , next moment there might be no mind at all. She's after all a dasi, a slave and has therefore no right to say rudely to the king. But she's doing that to some extent. But no, she can't just go ahead and do hartal and make a hell of the system for the injustice done to her. Right now, she needs to stay in the mahal and find the culprit and protect everyone and under these circumstances using her mouth isn't going to be a good idea. Nahi to think , aaj kal ke women empowerment ke jamaane agar Hota toh kabka uss chaku mein lage fingerprint sensor Helena pakri jati that she'd killed that maid. The eras are different and so is everything.

well if we go by the era logic, then chandra is doing fine. No women empowerment, no women rights, no point in expecting him to grant them to Nandini, If it is seriously about era then if a king respects a woman or his wife, good, but he clearly can't be forced. Till 18th and probably 19th century there have been women silently weeping in the royal harem and I don't think history judges the king based on how he was in his harem,

@bold: then going by the same logic the king has the every right to treat her like a daasi, because she after all is a daasi. A woman's dignity is her own business and she should be the one taking care of it

no she doesn't need to do hartal or create ruckus in the palace, she only needs to set her priorities.and right now her self esteem is clearly not her priority for what so ever reason. remember she is not a born daasi, she is touted as warrior princess, she should not be fearing from death at least.

anyways my point was, when a woman invests in a non profitable relationship, she should be discouraged and reprimanded by the society,

seems this discussion is going no where, lets end it on this positive note and try having a good time together over other subjects😃

I don't know why people say there was no women empowerment in 400 BC.

There was much much more empowerment for women than it has been in the last 1000 years. 400 BC was a time of highest education for men and for women. India(or the concept of the nation as such) was the center of education attracting people from all over the world. Women professors are known to exist in those days, and equality was a norm not even an aspiration. It was the golden era for this part of the world, because we were the educated lot and others were still raging religious wars. Women subjugation is rather a recent phenomenon, recent in the sense - 600-700 years of time scale, esp after some foreign invasions.

In that sense, Nandini, a learned woman, a warrior princess, to be shown in such a silent abla naari position is all the more un-real. But then it is a Balaji show, how can one expect any thing real and non-regressive.

In the current situation, both are ghatiya pati and patni, with Chandra bearing the higher degree of ghatiya-pan.

But then, like Aish said, they have given us some magical moments in the past, and as actors they both deserve the awards. In my opinion, they deserve higher awards than this dubious Best Pati , Patni category which is clearly a you-too-win type of award. The real awards were taken by the TRP snatching serials with a larger fan following.
