I know there are many people who don't want the wedding bride swap thing to happen, and then there are others who don't mind because it means Avneil will happen.

But the wedding will ruin the crux of the show. The show isn't about Avneil, even though they are an amazing couple. The show is about Avni getting her revenge. Fine, she's able to ensure Neil and Riya don't get married. Then what? She has no access to the Mehta house. How is she gonna get her revenge. Money/bankruptcy is supposed to be only one leg of her revenge against the Mehta house.

The shows name is Namkarann, and the the ads for the show centred on Avni making a name for herself that the Mehta household will always be remembered for.

She can't do that if she's married and dealing with her own mother-in-law, husband-hates-me problems.

It will ruin Neil and Avni as a couple because they will be basically a normal couple in a saas bahu serial. It also ruins the prospect of dealing with Ali's feeling for Avni in a caring way.

Hope its just promo to gain audience attention marriage will defo spoil crux of naamkarann I mean its too early

Yea first i thought the same that AvNeil will lose their charm not only them the show also but now i am giving chance to Cvs if they are going to let AvNeil marry with each other. So i am ok with it, Cvs always did some good so now they will do good too. I can understand your pov, but. Have hope dear.

yea, i think the wedding is definitely happening. But i'm hoping the show is progressive enough to showcase a divorce or an annulment to the marriage before developing the Avneil relationship. Otherwise it's basically going to be another IPKKND or Madhubala scenario.

It's not only Avneil. Zain and Aditi have amazing chemistry onscreen, so they can make anything work. But CVs have ruined story tracks before the leap of Naamkarann. I have full faith on Avneil, I just hope they don't ruin Avni's naamkaran/revenge to the Mehta house. 😕

Definitely not gonna happen as i think Neil is also against Mehtas some how so AvNeil together will take revenge. 😊

I disagree with you. If you follow Naamkarann from the first episode, you would know that this show wasnt suppose to have a leap. It was a story of a girl who tries to get justice for her mother. But cvs had to change their ways because the show wasnt working. They tried a lot of twist and turns to get the show to work. But it did not work as well as they thought it would.

Hence, this leap came. After leap, the first promo itself was a clear indication that this would be a love story. Yes it will be a different kind of one but now this show is a love story. It is as much about Neil as it is about Avni. Its about how two people come together.

I am not saying Avni revenge won't have any importance. But she can take revenge after marriage as well. So calling it only a revenge story but not love story is wrong.

I have no problems with it being a love story. Every Indian serial is a love story, where it has equal importance to the overall plot, or even more.

I have a problem that if the marriage track progresses it will be about the mil hating the dil, and the husband hating the wife trope. Shifting the focus from the main storyline, and making it more illogical for her to stay connected to the Mehta house once she marries Neil.

I don't mind the focus being on Neil or Avneil.
