Ok so I was looking up the perfect actress to play Neil's maasi, Shweta's younger sister, who will be a doctor and an old friend of Neela, as well as the crush for our joker DD. As I was looking around, knowing that the moment I see an actress, I would be able to see the character in her, I only came across one such actress who I imagined fit the bill of the character perfectly. The actress in question is Chhavi Pandey. I saw the character in her the moment I saw her face whilst searching on google images. She physically looks the right age I was imagining the character to be, and she kind of does fit the bill of a younger sister to Shruti Ulfat (who plays Neil's mother, Shweta).
I remembered that she also played a doctor in an episodic of teri meri love stories opposite karan wahi which used to air on star plus, and she looked good. She starred opposite Viraf Patel in Ek boondh ishq too if anybody remembers.
I really like her, and I can already imagine DD gawking at her like a love-sick puppy 🤣
I have also decided the name of the maasi too; Shikha. I think it's a lovely and mature name, but still sounds youthful. Shweta and Shikha; the two sisters. Sounds pretty good to me 😆
