Fawad rose to fame too soon and too fast for some people's comfort. That was his fault. That he had that X factor and screen presence.

😆 You have mistaken me for someone else dear. I am, was and will always be against ANY kind of ban 🥱 And specially if it's against FK like actors. And I was quite vocal about it in BW forum (not so active in BW forum but whatever I posted that time, it was against the ban. 😆

Mahira toh did not promote raaes in India n no promotion of her in India .She is equal yo fawad in Pak but was treated worst than c grade actress.

Even mawra is not working in bw anymore so I guess it's not about fawad alone.

Nowadays films with Pak actors are not promoting their Pak actors it's hush hush .

Wouldn't have thought of this when it happened but it does make some sense actually now. He was accepted on big scale by Indian audience. I haven't followed but i dont think any other Pakistani was accepted, Ali Zafar was but not like Fawad plus Ali wasn't exactly hero material

Raees was released with Mahira Khan and now Hindi Medium too with another Pakistani actress. There was another Pakistani actor in ADHM but the outrage was only against Fawad Khan. Looks like Fawad Khan's popularity did irk some local actors and political goons complied.

Thank you for writing this post. If one of the so called Fawad fans had written it, we would have bee called hormonal (which is fine)...

The fact that he rose to fame so fast did not go down well with people. His popularity brings TRPs and that is what media houses care about. What angers me is that even now the promos of republic channel carry Fawad's pic... with caption 'Pakistani artist'. It's a shame that the audience will miss out on some good work...
