Yeah basically Fawad became more popular than Ranbir/Ranveer and other young actors. Ali Zafar or Imran Abbas never found that much fame in BW.

Ali Zafar's been working in Bollywood for years. Nobody is threatened by him. He was just ok in Dear Zindagi and in future too he would continue to do side characters. Mahira Khan didn't generate any buzz in India. Same is the case with the actress in Hindi medium. So it's possible that they might not be offered anything in future.

I don't care who all played with him, but the way Karan played with Fawad's career to promote his ghatia below average crap ADHM is unbelievably disgusting...Its horrifying to see to what extent someone can stomp over someone else for their own selfish reasons...👎🏼

What happened to Fawad really enrages me.

He was ruthlessly targeted because he was popular during the time when the attack happened. Controversies happen in BW all the time and after 1-2 months people become bored of them/forget about them and move on... But the consequence of this controversy was that Fawad was unfairly ousted out of the country. The same people who had problem with him dont seem to be bothered about other Pak actors now working in BW, probably because they dont generate as much media hype as Fawad did.

And I donnt wanna even talk about how much I dislike KJo for not backing Fawad even remotely. Obviously everyone in the industry only cares about money but KJo changed colour faster than a chameleon.. Nautankibaaz kahika 😡😡

How many films has Ali signed after the Uri attacks? All these films, including Raees, Hindi Medium, Dear Maya were shot before that incident.

Most of these producers including Kjo requested Shiv Sena, Mns, to let the under production films have a safe release promising they won't cast Pakistani actors in future or till situation normalises.

The whole blame for pathankot uri was put on fawad. When his wife was in Labor, he was asked to raise his voice against his own country. Some reported faked news that he heard Fawad say something bad about India. And the whole thing blew out of proportion.

KJo probably used him as Bali ka Bakra (or Eid ka bakra?), to get buzz for the movie.
