My goodness you have dissected the episode with such precision, that there is nothing left to say. 👏

1) agreed why walk so slow... which planet do they live in that they have no time issues. With us the day seems short with the amount of work that need to be done with. Fikr naa faqaa aish kar kaka is their motto. Waise when Kanak bumped into US, I think it's to signify the clash between them, that Kanak can't stay behind. She would always be on his side whether he likes it or not.

2)today the Rathi family scene was a good reprieve from the timeless alien planet.

3) why couldn't he do the pooja with Kanak holding his hand. Sometimes he is just dumb.

4)I watched the stunt twice, to see how it was executed--- I mean what was the necessity?? why did Palomi had to make the lep. She took the first opportunity to make lep and get it to US, k kahin Kanak naa ajaye lep lagane.

6) Massi is a hypocrite... she can see all the flaws in Kanak. But not in suman or Palomi... I don't mean to say that two wrongs make it right but still the way suman flashes her tongue and suman bakes her eyes on US, ain't that adharm. If she had that many questions, why weren't they addressed before marriage. Even today they are doing nothing to make her comfortable, just imposing rules and new rules on her. Is there one thing that they have adjusted to Kanak's.

It all depends on Kanak... what how and when she would make her move. She is not going to get anything as per her wish in this family or house at the moment... she needs to either carve her place or escape. Let the drama unfold.
The more she is caged, more relentless she would be in her attempt to escape. I wish US sees the furious side of her, where he is unable to calm her down with any of his pravachan.

Babasa has memory issues, I wonder he even remembers that he sent of Kanak to some mission, to get the shop back. As for him remembering old things/ moments with bhabho, it's like some behavior are so engrained that they are like automatically part of the system/memory.
