WHEN one of Bollywood's most private individuals arrives on a photo-sharing site and shares a pic with us almost daily, it's time to find out the reason behind the sudden openness. Apparently, Katrina Kaif's new bestie Karan Johar is behind her move to join the site. He, it seems, told her that she wouldn't have a career left if she wasn't present in the online world. (Johar's protgs Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan shared Kaif's first post " as did Salman Khan, but his reasons are obviously his own). Curiously, Kaif pays for her posts to pop up even on non-followers' timelines. She has also hired a digital media agency to monitor her social media image. She also did a chat last month in which she revealed that several stars claimed not to have social media accounts, but stalked others' accounts using fake names. That's one savvy Kat, we tell ya.
