Jhanvi is a character that evokes stern aversion. She's not human. But the destroyer of life. She worst mother which can be ever!
For what you want to punish Maya, punish Jhanvi first! Punish this inhuman woman who allowed, pandered and actively helped and continues to help destroy the little defenseless life that fell into her hands for some fatal tragic mistake
I'm sorry that Maya saved her from a seizure of diabetes. I'm sorry that Maya jumped behind her from the bridge. I'm sorry that Maya didn't allow Jhanvi to meet Ashvin. Maya wasn't right. Maya wasn't at all right
I'm sorry that that ghost or Samay didn't finish his work. Didn't kill Jhanvi
If Jhanvi died once, Maya would be healthy. Instead of spending all her life, Maya would not destroy her whole life for the sake of monsters pretending to be victims
Jhanvi and Arjun are two people in Maya's life, who enjoy the fact that they increase insecurity. Enjoy by torturing her. They use Maya. They know Maya's pain points and they hit in its constantly

There was a scene where Maya shows all her bruises and ask you still went to him. Maya saying suffering pain, she is used to pain. The way she projects back at Arjun hitting her is what Ashwin has done. Use his injury to humiliate her and call her mad. People like Vandana Mata believed a man like Ashwin or rather they always believe men however cruel they are without seeing why the woman or the child had behaved that way.
So Maya learned to speak sob stories to make things against men. She is like Ashwin because she has only seen that method for survival. The society didnt allow her to live any other way, when they believed the facade of Ashwin. Jhanvi made it hard for her providing no emotional support from childhood.

@dexter Jhanvi killing Ashwin is probable but again the killer is left hand. Jhanvi I see uses right hand. Is there anyone who uses left hand or any scene where you remember someone has used left hand in a deft manner.

It is either Maya or Arjun, equal probability for Samay too.
But Jhanvi's accident rules out Samay, as only Arjun and his friend knew about the letter.
However, one should not forget that it was the doctor who gave Arjun this idea, so maybe it was originally Maya's idea which she conveyed to Arjun through the doctor.
Other than these people, no one really had a motive for murder.
But what really confuses me is how can Maya go out of her room, murder Ahwin and come back without anyone noticing it, that too in 5 minutes.
Also Arjun had a lot of evidences against him.

@hadhsejyada you made me wonder about Jhanvi.
This can possibly have 2 explanations.

1) Jhanvi always resisted her cure. Remember the time when she was throwing things around " Maya yeh log mujhe khaane mein dawa khila rahe the" just before going out with Maya.
So maybe medications were not taken properly, not to mention she couldn't give up her drinking habits either.

2) Maybe Maya purposely gave Jhanvi the wrong medications. Maya was always very insecure, had no one but her mother, and the mother was always ready to leave her in the middle of nowhere for her dear Ashwin. So as to make sure she is always dependent on Maya, Maya decided to take this safety measure of Jhanvi not being sane.

Other than these 2 explanations, one doubt can also be the answer. We all saw Maya taking some pills, where she was repeatedly saying " Main pagal nahin hoon", so she was taking some pills for mental health right. Jhanvi said she went to doctors due to depression. So maybe both Jhanvi and Maya were under medications for depression, unaware that they suffer from any other mental illness.
I am sorry to differ from you.
@bold The two persons who Maya loves have made the relationship toxic for themselves. Jhanvi never stood for Maya when Ashwin kept torturing her. Where was she when Ashwin had dipped little Maya into the water & applied paint on her? Where was she when Ashwin had locked her in the dark room? Even after that, he still kept torturing her. Ashwin had given the sweets to Jhanvi because of which she ended up in the hospital. Jhanvi is at the age where she should be controlling her daughter in her childhood & fight the world for her which any good mother does. But Jhanvi has not been a good mother.

The other one is Arjun. He had behaved irresponsibly & has been insensitive before the leap by boozing & telling ILU to Saanjh at the restaurant. When Maya saved Saanjh from getting burnt, Arjun had ignored her burns & had attended to Saanjh. He allowed Saanjh to apply colors on him before Maya did. He told Ayaan what Maya did but has conveniently washed his hands. Maya told Samay that she has given plenty of chances to Arjun & this will be the last one. So that definitely gives me a glimpse of what Arjun had done that Maya has made the screws tight for him & he got suffocated. I am not justifying Maya's actions but for whatever reasons she does, there is a strong reason behind it.

Yes, Maya needs to bring her true friend back to her life.
The previous post ends here & my response starts from below:

You have presented the views from Maya's POV! All those things you mentioned are true but seen from Maya's perspective! In a relationship, both sides have expectations & can have at any point of time differing POVs as well!
If there is a give & take arrangement, then differences can be ironed out!
But, Maya's love is one way traffic! The other person can not have a say if she has already made up her mind!
Jhanvi might have wanted to go to Ashwin (whatever be her need or justification) but Maya did not allow her to do so!
Ashwin is a rogue! No argument on that! He could have harmed even Jahanvi! But, Jhanvi as a free person has a right to decide & maya never allowed her mother to exercise her free will! And that is the crux of toxicity in their relationship!

Same is the case with Arjun! If he needed Saanjh & Sharmas in his life, Maya should have asked him to choose between her & others!
If he has chosen Maya on free will & decided to abandon others, it is fine, no issues!
But, is it the case here? Yes, it happened a kind of that way! Even though, Maya did not ask him to choose, he made up his mind to stay only with her, leaving others! But, it failed! Arjun realized that he could not continue to live like that! Did he not express it to her & then went and met Saanjh & Sharmas after 3 years?!
What should have maya done at that time? She should have confronted him & asked him why he broke his promise! She should have forced Arjun to make-up his mind one way or other! In stead, what did she do?
Maya has almost kidnapped him under sedation & kept him as a prisoner either by emotional back mail of suicide threats or simply luring him with her physical charms! That is not done!

Maya has to give both of them a choice!
A choice of either to stay with her or leave her life once for all!
Keeping anybody under force is certainly adding toxicity in their life!

@manya have Jhanvi behaved insane. I have found her delusional about Arjun. But insane I dont think so.
See Jhanvi calls Maya and tell her come to store room and we will finish off what started there, if I am right. Then Maya comes with Arjun and Saanjh and Jhanvi hides. Jhanvi wants to speak to Saanjh, but when Arjun comes she doesnt go.

So why she didnt come up when Maya came with Arjun and Saanjh, as she herself called Maya. See this scene and Arjun's hair sample in Arjun murder site is what confuses me.
Even if Maya committed murder, from where did his hair sample come. Because once VM took Arjun, till she came back to Mandap Maya had no contact with Arjun.

Jhanvi was also going to the clubs and kitty party. Maya was fine with that. Jhanvi had all the free will. However, freedom does not mean that a person can do whatever they please especially when it affects others. If Jhanvi was childless, she could have met Ashwin as many times as she wanted but if she has a child, she has to be a responsible mother. She is a complete failure as a mother. Any child in Maya's place would go nuts having a mother like her. If I was in that place, I would have left the house and stayed in an orphanage. I would not care for the comforts as long as I get some peace of mind.

Agree with you that Maya should have confronted Arjun but she is not a normal person to do that. She has seen Saanjh confronting Arjun and how he was rude to her. Yes, Maya has to give them a choice but she does not do that as she feels both of them will leave her forever which will not be good for her.

Maya's ways are wrong. I don't deny that. I feel that Maya's birth itself was a mistake. If Maya decides to commit suicide, they should not save her. Instead, let her die so she will get a good riddance from wrong relations. But they don't have the guts to do that.

Very, very true.
Maya's greatest fears are abandonment and not being in control. They all hit her exactly there.
I don't know why people forget that Maya's given at least one chance to everyone who's let her down.

At this juncture, both the explanations are equally likely.
Though my heart says its option 1. Jhanvi had a lot of ways to get rid of the medication. She never f**king listened to anyone.
There's also a possibility of misdiagnosis. You are very correct in saying so.
And maybe those pills Maya as taking were for insomnia or anxiety? Because being called pagal gave her a panic attack? who knows. And prolly we'd never get to know either.

Other characters are not saints or angels as you people think. Everyone are responsible for their actions. If Maya is wrong it does not mean others are right. Everyone have contributed to the present situation but only Maya is being bashed & blamed. I find that funny.

No one is entirely blaming everything on others..
Maya's may be the wrongest person on earth, but that'd never change the wrongdoings of others. keep that in your head.

Nah mate, lets deem her as pagal and deny her the treatment she needs.

@bold: That is what even I am saying. Yes, it think it is better to certify her as mad for the benefit of this forum.
