'My Hands Are SHIVERING': Ayesha Khan CLAIMS She Was FORCEFULLY DETAINED In Mumbai, Later Calls Cops 'SWEET'

Actor Ayesha Khan has claimed that she was detained by the Mumbai Police while trying to support students protesting over the NEET issue. The Dhurandhar actor documented the entire incident through a series of Instagram Stories, sharing videos from inside a police van as well as after being taken to a police station. Throughout her posts, Ayesha repeatedly questioned why action had been taken against her despite insisting that she had not participated in any protest.

Giving a detailed account of the incident, Ayesha said she had reached Dadar with her brother and a few friends to extend support to the protesting students. According to her, the group was informed that demonstrations would not be permitted at the location. She alleged that her brother and the male members of the group were immediately detained by the police. While she remained behind trying to figure out where they had been taken, she claimed several police personnel surrounded her and asked her to get into a police van as well.

Sharing her first reaction from inside the vehicle, Ayesha appeared visibly shaken and said, "My hands are literally shivering right now. I have been detained in the police van just for standing on the road peacefully." She maintained that she had neither organised nor participated in the protest and was merely waiting on the roadside after her brother was taken away.

The actor also posted a clip showing what she claimed was the moment she was escorted into the police vehicle. Along with the video, she wrote, "Unfortunately it took 4 police women to pull me in. But I ask the same question again, why? Did I make a noise? Did I even start a conversation? Detained me for what? For standing in the road? Wasn't even in the group of 5."

Another video shared by Ayesha showed her asking police officials where they were taking those who had been detained. According to the footage, she did not receive any response. One of the young men travelling with her also spoke in the video, claiming he had a Mathematics practical examination scheduled and feared he would miss it because of the detention. He alleged that he had been picked up without any valid reason.

After reaching Worli Police Station, Ayesha recorded another video explaining the sequence of events once again. While she continued to question the grounds on which she had been detained, she also praised the officers stationed there, describing them as "sweet." However, she reiterated that despite being cooperative throughout, she was still searching for an answer as to why she had been taken into custody in the first place.
