Yes Babho does care for her granddaughter, she thinks about her often also, she awhere of when she is coming from college even though she doesn't speak to Kanak on phone she wants to see her settled in marriage before she dies.

Even though all think she hates Kanak and blames her for the death of Sandiya and Suraj, Babho didn't change the name of the sweet shop removing Kanak's name, even when the shop is not making money still she kept the name.

So perhaps cv's intend to connect her true feelings for Kanak at the end when they reveal to us what happened for shop property deed to be with Uma Shankar.

I don't think she has sold the shop owing to what it means to her...

And I feel Vikram knows something...

Bhabho does care for Kanak but I still can't buy it that she sold the shop.

The track basically is focussing on Kanak winning Bhabho. Bhabho said to babasa "the person who'll understand my relation with the shop will be my own". It's very clear that Bhabho doesn't want to sell the shop. If she had already sold it she would not have toiled so hard. There's smthn ambiguous about the shop thing. Also as US is shown I don't think he has any ulterior motives. He is shown to be very clear and transparent except for the blindfold of Bhagwan ke sanket.

Also, Kanak and US's lives have to be entwined somehow. And this will happen if there's any past connection. For both to understand each other, for both to heal and for both to be diya baati there has to be smthn that shakes the foundation of their existence. And I believe mistakes are from both the ends. The only ppl who might be knowing the extras are Gabbasa and Vikram.

Now the twist in the story is, Kanak has got the papers. Rathis are hell-bent on selling the shop ( Vikram is nowhere in this picture) except Kanak. I first had thot it must be meenakshi but even she's surprised to know that papers are not there. It has to be Vikram I believe. I don't think his saree business is going well plus a kid to take care of 😆

There has to be a big legal battle here. Both parties unaware of what the other wants. Kanak-US have to be at daggers. Ekdum takkar ki ladai. And what can follow in the shop battle is their divorce as Kanak was forced to marry.

So a lot of diraama is waiting to unfold... 😛
