IB Parody Mode: AAA edition

As has been established in some previous discussions, IB is essentially at it's best when it embraces it's inherent irreverence and itch to parody all manner of old films/songs/cliched scenarios...today's epi appeared to be an embracing irreverence yet again with an ode to one of my (and it seems Anika's as well) all time fav. films...Andaz Apna Apna...

Also, reposting these here cuz these two are just so darn adorable together😆

I am a happy camper today 😆 caz they fulfilled my AAA wali wish anika saying the dialogues in paresh rawal ki voice 🤣 and then going andaaz apna apna nahi Dekhi? Explaining raveena and karishma confusion and that's not it she actually started singing yeh raat aur yeh doori 🤣 and the daakus ka face esp that PREM dude iska bheja uda doonga I swear that was me on Tuesday 🤣 and shivaay constantly appologizing for her wah re wah ek zamana tha jab yeh khud ke liye bhi kabhi sorry nahi bolta tha aur aaj sorry pe sorry for her ool jalool harkatein 🤣 he was being a parent who is embarrassed by bache ki shaytaniyan . Beech beech main giving her the looks telling her to keep quiet but woh anika hi kya jo sun le rofl

Then them giving the police wala a ride 🤣 best but at least someone finally recognized him by his face in IB land without him going all sso ki tadi

Anika ki signals look my hair, my earrings his hum party main nahi ja rahe and her mumbling ghar ja rahe hain but pohncheinge nahi 🤣 and then the antakshri with oye oye comedy gold 🤣 andhim singing it in sur too and lmao he also went why oye oye on loop itne maze se m
Phir their jump and ladai at that bridge thingy zabardast 🤣 he is like s confused how am I supposed to know it's a signal and their chotu argument over ool jalool baatein so cute it was

Phir forest rangers ke saath fight main apni fight 🤣 epic stuff and the guy keeping a finger on his mouth bechara 🤣 Phir anika the hero saved the day and impressed him

Really liked his concern for her in middle of all this too bhaggi kyon nahi and kal their coming in front of each other /pehle aap pehle aap is going to frustrate anar prem more 🤣

Overall enjoyed it even if anika still sounded lil high she was adorbs


this kinda randomness & fun is what makes me stick to this show cannot see any other show ever being able to pull this kind of stuff and not go Ott or just plain annoying

Also applause for NM,SC they killed it with their comic timing without going Ott mere liye anika zara bhi annoying nahi thi aaj she was supposed to be overboard today in this episode and SC did it super well and I wasn't irritated by her at all the Amar prem were well casted and did gelled very well

I toh had a great laugh today


I will take this hansti khelti happy over excited hyper anika any day over tantrumnthrowing pakao and just irritating spoil brat like Tuesday don't get me started how traumatic was Tuesday or me caz of anika ki non sense and not stopping and realizing what was she doing

Today's episode was all about Anika's love for Andaaz Apna Apna. 😆 God I love that movie! I can watch it again and again and again and AGAIN. The Amar-Prem reference gave me so many RuMya feels! 😭 how I miss them and their love angel moments! 💔

Anika's taana on Shivaay's 'brain-quality' 🤣 bechara Shivaya. He's already busy grasping and absorbing all kinds of worldly information before he puts his amazeballs decision-making skills to use and now Anika needs him to absorb all her gibberish too. I feel sad for SSO's brain. 😆

Amazing gifs, btw! And I totally related to Anika's shock at being told that those dudes hadn't watched AAA. HOW CAN YOU NOT WATCH AAA? (Maybe they've been in jail for a long, long time?)
