Honetsly, Beyhadh is far more logical. And unlike Amy in GG, Maya is an empathetic and complex character since the latter has been through inhumane childhood abuse. She has to heal; otherwise there'll be no point to the story. If she stays mentally ill till the end, then the story would be rendered meaningless.

Gone Girl may not be the best story out there (about crazy manipulative protagonist) but in my opinion it's still much more logical than Beyhadh. The author of gone girl at least had a clear cut idea of how her protagonist is going to be. Here the makers of Beyhadh don't want their protagonist to be outright negative, so to make her grey they just added a traumatic past to Maya and also made her a god fearing person. But there is just no consistency in her character. One minute she is shown to silently suffer all of Vandana's tortures and the other minute she is about to run over 2 people with her car. A normal grey shaded character wouldn't do any of these things in either of the situations.

So true. I don't even know why people keep comparing beyhadh to GG. Even I have ended up comparing few times because people keep comparing.

I actually find Maya a good person but imperfect whereas Amy was inhuman. She had no conscious basically. At first, I felt so bad for her and thought the husband cheated on her with that s***, so that's why she had planned her disappearance even thought I couldn't justify for him to completely get blamed for her murder just because he had cheated on her. But I still wanted her to win as the husband was a jerk just so he can feel some pain too. But then later in the movie, we see she had basically ruined another guy in the past for no reason at all which I just couldn't get and couldn't feel anything for her as that guy didn't even do anything to her unlike her jerk husband which I could still understand why she wanted to take down her husband. Then I see her murdering Desi mercilessly for no reason at all but her own selfishness. I just couldn't feel bad for her even thought I did feel bad for her for having a jerk husband. But the others had done nothing to her. She was basically psychopath and had everything perfect since childhood. In the end, I was fine with her not getting caught. I was okay with the end, but I hated her what she did to others for no reason at all. I could've got her if they were bad to her. But other than her husband, no one had done anything to her. It seemed like she just loved harming others for no apparent reasons.

I don't even know how people even compare Maya with a complete evil person like Amy. Amy was completely evil and only loved her self and would harm others even if they had done nothing he . Here Maya doesn't even love herself. First she loved her mother. Now she loves Arjun and would kill herself for him. After these two, she loves herself. . She risks her life to save them and do anything for them right or wrong.. She risked her life even to save saanjh once. She had a sad childhood and she does have conscious. The other time when doesn't feel anything is because she genuinely doesn't think she did wrong. She thinks she's doing everything to protect Arjun who is naive and comes under world's influence. She would even leave him if she feels she can be a harm to him like last time she had decided to leave him right after their marriage only to stop by arjun again. That's why when the love to dahshat track was on and arjun wanted to free by her, I was thinking he is such a dumb. He just needed to make her believe she was a danger to his life in some way by bringing a pandit or someone, and she would herself leave him getting scared like last time. Instead he was doing everything opposite which just made her think he is some naive person on the wrong path, and she should bring him on the right path and protect him which just made her obsessed on him.. Amy, on the hand only cared about herself. She was completely a black character.

In the end or even from now on, I really really want Maya to know her wrongs and realize what wrong is even. I want her to get healed and stop this madness on Arjun like putting 24/7 cameras on him, injecting him and tying him. That's all just wrong. No person deserve this. As for Vandana and Saanjh, she was completely right with them especially with Vandana.

I also dont like Mayas character ... and i want that she shd be punished

but i feel that when the story will end , the cvs will change mayas evil character into a positive one... and arjuns family will finally accept maya and they will together stay happy ever after.

i hope cvs doesnt show what i just predicted above and instead they show a inevitable fate of what an evil like maya must deserve...
