I think one of the reason for her doing bad stuff and that her actions keeps getting worse is because she isn't getting punished for her wrongdoings. I mean if you get what you want by doing bad stuff and not get punished for it, would you really stop. Isn't that one of the reason why we punish people so they learn not to do it again.
She needs to get punished so that she can learn that doing bad stuff isn't ok. She did some questionable things in season 1, but in season 2 she just keeps getting worse. She can't get away with it all. And the longer it takes to punish her the bigger the punishment is going to be.

But then again to say that she isn't punished at all is kind of wrong. Because of the way she acts with her husband he doesn't love her anymore and would give himself pain to cause her pain. He would also lie and send her to an other country just to get away from her and meet his family behind her back. That should make her understand that what she is doing is wrong, but the problem is that she just don't get it. Or she does get it, but doesn't care. She also lost her child because of what she did that day. And Saanjh told the world about what Maya is capable of doing and what she has done to Arjun and that she is mad. That probably made her feel humiliated. (I remember that she hated being called mad in season one, but she doesn't react to it much now. Has she accepted that she is? Or am I wrong?)

I'm pretty sure that at the end of this season she is going to get punished. She has to. Plus is going to get annoying if she keeps doing bad stuff and getting away with it.

@TM, why shouldn't we say she's innocent? You all are just assuming things and blaming on her without it being shown. I can also say saanjh intentionally murdered Aryas baby, all the dead people are because of her, she pushed Jhanvi and she knew Ayaan attempted to rape maya but still defended him. But I don't say this all because I am not blind and like to imagine things just because I hate her.

I am not sure if it's the writers fault for not showing things properly that some viewers are now confused with maya, or its just people hate maya so much since they are used to pure perfect white characters that now they have assumed blacks traits from a grey character. But I don't think it's the writers fault because at least the MC was the most obvious one but still people assume she faked it. I don't think the writers can have full time showing all details or making her say stuffs that she didn't fake in front of Ganesha every time just so people don't have doubt. Writers can't do this every time with such viewers who are bell bent on seeing Maya through a black character when the makers and including Jenny always said she was grey and complicated character. They never said she was black character, so why assume such stuffs from her? Many also said she faked being nice with vandana just because she became her old self after she was fed up with vandana. But then when Maya was later shown talking to Ganesha that she genuinely tried with vandana, only then some stopped saying she faked with vandana too. But how many times cvs can do that? They don't have time to show her every time saying like that in front of Ganesha or talking to herself just so some viewers get clear pic again. Some viewers just need to remember she's grey and see her through as a grey character to not get confused like that every time, not black. I mean accusing of her murder, and all mean only a black character which isn't possible as Maya character was always said to be grey unless cvs change her character to completely black which is another matter.

Anyway, if later she's shown to be a murderer, faking rape and all, then I don't mind her getting punished. I wouldn't have problem with it unless the Cvs go towards GG route. But for right now, nothing is shown or proven.

So you agree with my contention that if Maya has done these wrongs you want her to get punished. I also said only that and you want more proofs & let's wait for that. You can accuse saanjh, arjun, vandana, Jhanvi or even suman of all the murders even that of pandit murder but majority people's logic don't support that.

Anyway not writing an essay will re evaluate these issues after 2-3 months, the simple point is Maya should get punished if she did wrong. Simple, there is no excuse that it's Maya's show

Where did I say she isn't wrong?
Read the bold part ...
Yep in season 2 her actions are punishable n that's what I said, I want her to fall n lose
So that she realises how wrong is she.
And that will start her redemption..

Who are we to decide whether a character is redeemable or not. If a character sees the darkness in him/her and repents for his/her mistakes then the character can be redeemed. But Ashwin never saw the darkness in him, he just saw money n ways to terrorise Maya baby so he is irredeemable

Where is proof that Ashvin did all the evil & not that Maya has framed him too. Did we hear ashvin side of story? There may be a reason why Jhanvi still loved him. He didn't get a chance to tell his story or get redeemed, so you can't judge ashvin too until we know what Maya has done to him.

What could a 9 y/o Maya possibly have done for Ashwin to dunk her in paint and put her in solitary confinement? Your argument is absurd. Nothing can justify what Ashwin did to Maya.

We need to still know his side of story to judge him.

^ No we don't. Even if Maya had committed a crime(accidentally killing someone perhaps) as a JUVENILE, this wasn't the way how a father treats a daughter.

I will still see the story and then judge him.
It will unfair to judge an individual without knowing his side of story. Not justifying his actions but still would like to know the reason behind it. Why does his say his daughter destroyed his life? Why jhanvi still loved him?

I don't care about his reasons but it's inhumane to treat a child like an animal.
