I feel Chanakya knows the entire conspiracy behind the death of Durdara. But in order to keep Chandra away from Nandini, he is hiding the truth

I think so too. Because what else is he scaring Apama with.

I'm just sad because I really like Chankya except when he is against Nandini.

Even I think CK knows the secret of Helena and Aparna.

He let them go even after watching Aparna hide something after pinching Durdhara with poison needle. He also did not bother to check or inform the Vaidya about it. He simply came back and said iam increasing security in Durdhara room.

May be, he also realised that the word Sauten did not merely mention Nandini. He also observed Helena entering the room with Mom, when Durdhara was pointing out to them. Earlier, during Durdhara abortion episode, He was the one who taught Chandra that just because the oil came from Nandini room, does not mean that she poured the oil on the steps... similarly, There was no proof that Nandini mixed poison in the water that she was giving to Durdhara.

But his hatred towards Nandini is so great, that he wanted to keep his favourite student far away from her. So much so, that he used the right time when Chandra was not in the right frame of mind, to pass judgment and punish her, without hearing a single argument from her side. Which is not what a King or a PM should have done, but they did.

If CK really wanted to protect the innocent, he would have kept Nandini in a safe place, till the truth was found out about Durdhara's murderer.

It is exactly where she got caught.

CK was reported by his spy that NAND tried to kidnap Bindusara. CK wondered how did NAND come to know of Chandra's details when he is in a commoner attire. Only few people from the Mad Palace knew of his whereabouts, and the troop he was goi with... He realised there was a flaw in the Security System of the Palace.

Then he started discussing with his Spies and Security guards, when he came to know that there is a specific tunnel being used only by Yavans. When he questioned why it is not used by Magadh security people, his General showed him the Orders signed by Aparna .

Later, he saw Aparna using the RajMurdra of Helena, caught her red handed and promptly asked her to return it.

If you have watched the previous episodes, when CK and Daadi proposes CGM to go to Kaling for political alliance as well as get blessings of God for Bindusara, CGM rejects it. Then Helena turns to Aparna and say "Humare yojana kaam Nahi kar raha hi" ...

This was the plan. Getting bindusara kidnapped by NAND . NAND gets his revenge on CGM by killing Bindu. CGM rivalry against NAND and Nandini strengthens. If Bindusara is dead, and CGM hates Nandini, Helena gets a chance to have a child through CGM. Foreigner gets to rule the land (which CGM and CK vehemently fought against) ... Helena wants to have Rajmata position also (remember her conversation with Moora ... )

Bindusara never left the Palace. CGM will never give baby to Helena unless bindusara lives. So Aparna leaked the info of Chandra's whereabouts and his Details to NAND. Look how Helena looks helplessly when Bindu got snatched from her at the Temple. CGM correctly cornered her - if she was the child's own mother, would she give up just like that ????

but that could lead to bigger discovery of more conspiracies as it shows Apama does not like Nandini since the starting and was conspiring against her.

Currently CK knows only about Aparna's involvement in Roopa's case and Bindu's kidnap case.

Either he has already trapped Sunanda or Aparna's Spy who went to NAND. I guessing That's why Aparna has still kept him alive.

1. Roopa was used to replace Nandu and defame her in the Palace. Besides, Roopa also wanted to kill NAND.

Even CK does not like Nandu. So, I don't think he will share this info with Chandu any time soon. Not until he laid a proper trap for Sunanda and get her ready to confess against Aparna. He only used that info to arm twist Aparna to take the Rajmudra away from her.

2. Bindu's kidnap is a proper treason against the Kingdom. But, there's no proof of Aparna's hand in it. Until Aparna's spy gets caught and confesses in front of Chandra.

In the initial episodes, when Chandra was a student and getting ready to take revenge on NAND, CK sent him first to stop Alexander from entering India. He said that stopping foreign invasion is much more important and of UTMOST PRIORITY to Bharat. Revenge on NAND can be taken later.

Seleucus could not invade India and if his grandson gets to rule India, it's a win win for Seleucus, Aparna and Helena. Helena wanted CGM and a child through him at any cost , plus she wanted Power and Authority- so it's a total win win for her as well.

For Magadh's Uttardhikari, Chanakya sent Chandra to Durdhara, clearly mentioning that Indians will not accept a child through Helena, a foreigner.

So, CK will ensure that he will never put Bindu's life in danger. And he will ensure that Helena's child (even if it's born) does not get to rule Magadh either. Therefore, Chanakya (the serial CK, not the original CK) Is expected be smart enough to have guessed why Aparna attempted to kidnap Bindu in the first place, and her benefit in this.

It is in this pursuit, that Chanakya might find out that Nandu was innocent ...

but by that time, too much victimisation and heroine Mahanta would have been done on the Female Lead, that we will all be hitting our heads against the Magadh pillars.
