Next day Tiwari Killa
Every one woke late because of the exhaustion of sangeet, it was 9 in the morning still no one was up
"are aaj kya chai muyassar hogi? ya tis hajari canteen jana padega? are koi sun raha hai? ya sab ke sab soye hue hai ab tak?" nanaji squealed from his room to chastised all
manju hurridly came out from her room tucking her pallu properly "yeh babuji bhi na kabhi nahi sukun se rahane dete hai, 4 din ke liye aaye hai fir bhi hume hi sabkuch karna padata hai" manju irked and kept ranting while moving toward kitchen
rachana was also coming without noticing manju form other side and both bumped on each other "bhabhi kya hai subah subah dekhake nahi chalati kya aap?" rachana yelped while rubbing her forearm where manju bumped with her
"are wah jaise tumhri aankhe to hai hi nahi , etani badi badi aankhe di hai bhagwan usaka estmala kyu nahi karati ho subah subah accident kar diya humara" manju whined while rubbing her own arm
"haan haan to apaki anhke to hai hi nahi na jaise , hamesha aap aisa karati hai janbuzke" rachana retorted while stomping her foot and she scrunched up her face in frustration
"are aaj hi milegi chai ya tum logo ki nanad bhabhi wali nok jhok chalati rahegi, tum dono nahi sudharogi na" nanu shook his head in dismay on his daughter and DIL as usual bickering, by the time all gathered in living room
rachana and manju gaped each other for a moment and busted into laughter, all others kept gawking at them completely dazed on their sudden change in behavior
rachana controlled he laugh somehow "bhabhi kitane dino baad hum logo ne aise nok jhok ki hai na maja aa gaya" rachana and manju hifived
"sach me rachana yeh sab na hum amreekka me bahot jyada miss karate hai" mami grinned ear to ear and all laughing on their antics
"sach bhabhi kitna maja aa raha hai na sab ek sath hai" rachana chirped
sumo came and hugged rachana from back while wrpping her hands aroung her neck "sachhi masi kitana maza aa raha hai aap sab ho, otherwise sirf mein aur preeti rahate hai nanu ko tang karne ke liye" sumo pecked rachana's cheek gleefully
"lekin ab meri beti ki shadi ho jayegi toh firse yeh ghar suna ho jayega, fir mein aur preeti hum dono hi rah jayenge" nanu ruffled sumans hairs dolefully
everyones eyes welled up, but preeti took charge to lighten everyone's mood "nanu di chali jayegi lekin aapko kya lagta hai yeh hum logo ko shanti se rahane dene wali hai kya dekhana aap har roj hum logo ko pareshan karane aayegi yaha, mark my words nanu" preeti grinned making suman startled
"preeti ki bachhi ruk tu aaj nahi bachegi mein tum logo ko pareshan karti hu ruk tu" sumo started chasing preeti making a fuss and again both started cute tom and jerry chasing, making all others laugh in their childish act, dabboo also joined them
"hehe...mein suman di ke team me hu" dabbo started capering along with them
this cousin trio's chasing clearly enlivened everyone but babulal somehow grabbed exultant dabbo's arm which urged dabbo to halt
"are tum log aise hi masti karoge ya kam bhi karoge" nanu chided making two sibs stop in their tracks catching their breaths
"ji babuji ekdam sahi kaha aapne aaj hum logo ko mata ki puja bhi karni hai aur badme bramhan bhoj bhi hai dopahar me jaldi jaldi sab kaam karne hai" baulal tried to grasp daboo's hand as he was wriggling to get out from babulal's grip
"papa chodo na muze" dabboo pouted finally as all his endeavor to freed himself went in vain "mere didi ki shadi hai aur mein eklauta bhai hu yaha bahot kam hai muze" daboo said in serious tone and all laughed on him making him more irked
"haan baba behan ke bhai chalo bahot kaam karne hai hum logo ko" rachana slapped dabboo on his forehead while moving toward kitchen "chaliye bhabhi enake piche pade rahe to din gujar jayega aur kuchh nahi hoga" manju also joined her in kitchen
Everyone despered to their rooms to get ready for puja
As manju already enjoined sumo that today was puja and followed by bramhan bhoj so she need to be ready in traditional cloths and that means strictly only in saree no lahenga or salwar
Sumo took quite long hot shower as today there was no hurry and she need to get rid of her drowsiness because of yesterday's sangeet
She came out and got ready by wearing a beautiful peach saree with golden embroidery, with big golden jhumka's, golden bangles and minimal makeup

Ater taking a last satisfied look of herself in mirror she came out from her room
Everyone settled on table for breakfast, Manju and masi served all "Are mamiji dijiye mein serve kar deti hu aap baithiye" sumo extended her hands to take bowl from manju's hand
manju moved other side failing sumo's attempt to get bowl "koi jaroorat nahi hai aur tu baith pahale nashta karane, jab dekho tab kaam karate rahati hai, 4 din hai aram kar le badme apane ghar jaake jitna kaam karna hai kar na" mami chided but there was love in her every word
"mamiji please mat datiye na please" sumo made a cute pout
"are bhabhi dekhiye na kitani khubasoorat dikh rahi hai na humari bachhi" rachana caressed sumo's cheeck lovingly
"haan rachana achha yaad aaya hai, suman tu chal mere sath kitchen me teri najar utarani hai" mami handed bowl to rachana and dragged suman to kitchen along with her
"are mamiji kya hai yeh najar wagaira kyu utarani hai" sumo whined with sulk which didn't affected mami at all
all smiled on their retreating figures "yeh manju bhi nahi pata kaha kaha se ye sab paitare lekar aati hai" sameer shook his head in dismay
"are bhaisab ek baat baieye bhabhiji america me bhi yahi sab karati hai kya?" babulal jested and hifived with preeti
"ekdum sahi kaha mausaji" preeti seconded him
"achha chalo aaj sab ekdam alasi ban gaye hai, jaldi jaldi hath chalao" nanu rebuked making all startled, rachana scooped bowls and reached nanu swiftly serving him breakfast and his tea
All started their breakfast, sumo and mami also joined them after finishing out evil eye from sumo task.

Morning MM
Condition of everyone was not different than tiwari's all were hell tired of yesterday's sangeet, it was almost 10 but no one was up except dadi and nirmala
"Maaji lijiye aapki garma garam chai" nirmala entered dadi's room with cheerful smile
dadi took cup of hot tea from nirmala's hand "kya baat hai aaj meri bahu bahot khush najar aa rahi hai?" dadi cocked her brow in question giving a lopsided grin
"muze sach me yakin nahi ho raha hai maaji ke 3 din baad shravan ki shadi ho jayegi. jis din ka etane din se intajar kar rahi thi ab jakar woh din aaya hai" nirmala said smiling dreamily
dadi smirked as she got a naughty idea in her naughty head, she pinched hardly on nirmala's arm , nirmala bounced in pain "ouchh!!! maaji yeh kya kiya aapne" she whined while rubbing her hand where dadi pinched her
"are tum hi to bol rahi thi na ki tumhe yakin nahi ho raha hai , toh bas tumhe yakin dila rahi thi aur tumhare sapano ki duniyase wapas laa rahi thi taki tum jaake apane lad sahab ko uthao, yaad hai na use tiwariji ke yaha jana hai puja ke liye, unhone dono ke liye koi puja rakhi hai" dadi screeched making nirmala startled
"are haan maaji mein to bhul hi gayi 10 baje bola tha unhone ab to 10.15 ho rahe hai, aap chai pi lijiye mein shravan ko uthane jaati hu" nirmala shrieked and scooted from there
"kamalji jaldi shravan ke room me ek cup hot coffee le aaiye" nirmala yelled while ascending stairs with brisk steps
Nirmala knocked door once but after no reply she twisted knob but on her utter surprise door was unlocked "shadi hone wali hai easki aur aise room unlock karake sota hai, pata nahi suman kaise manage karegi esake sath" nirmala murmured while moving toward his bed
she sat beside him and started piling bunch of files spreaded all aver the bed "kaisa rakhata hai room" she irked but soon mothers love took over her irritation when she gazed her son sleeping peacefully, she caressed his cheeck and ran her fingers through his thick dark brown messy hairs moving some strands away from his forehead
in the blink of eye shravan moved his head from pillow to nirmala's lap wrapping his hands around her waist and nuzzling more into her stomach, nirmala smiled on his childish act, she wouldn't be caught dead to break her sons peaceful sleep but she have to do this unpleasant task "shravan beta utho late ho raha hai" her silvery voice made him nuzzle more into her stomach "beta utho na sade dus baj rahe hai tumhe tiwariji ke yaha jana hai na puja hai" she said quietly
"maa please na 5 min aur" he replied in sleepy tone and nuzzled on her lap
"beta utho ab koi 5 min nahi, utho waha sab tumhara wait kar rahe honge" nirmala tried to shook him by his shoulder but he didn't budged "beta mera bhi man nahi kar raha hai tumhe uthane ka lekin samazo na" she pleaded thinking it will knock some senses to him but all in vain, his this habit was most annoying and she felt waking up him is the most irkable task, in this he was unlike his father she shook her head and resumed her task to wake up her kumbhakaran son
"shravan utho ab bahot ho gaya, ab koi bahana nahi okay chalo kamalji tumhari coffee lekar aa rahe hai tum fresh ho jao tab tak" she push him from her lap and he sat on bed rubbing his eyes like a child, he was looking so adorable nirmala could resist so she planted a kiss on his forehead "kya baat hai maa aaj muzape bahot pyar aa taha hai" he teased her in his sleepy tone
"are maa ko bete pe to hamesha pyar aata hai esame aaj kal ki kya baat hai" she said lovingly as matter of fact
"hmm" he smiled sleepily "maa lekin waha jana jaroori hai kya" he streched his hands to get rid of drowsiness
"haan bilkul jaroori hai, waha sab..."she was cutted by her phone "ek min" she raised her finger at him to wait and answered call
"haan tiwariji pranam boliye" shravan again straighten his body on bed to get another round of his 5 mins sleep
"haan haan ji shravan nikal hi raha hai 10 min me woh thode mahman aa gaye to busy tha" she never prefer lie but since daught between two stools she have to do that , she whacked him with sharp glare to warn him that he need to go and get ready fast any more lingering on bed
reluctantly he got up from bed and headed to washroon with extremely small and sulky steps
"maaf kijiyega lekin hum sab to nahi aa payenge ghar me bahot kaam hai lekin ek kam karati hu pushkar, ria aur rishiko bhej deti hu" by hearing that ria and rishi will accompany him sharvan's face lit up
"ji thik hai rakhati hu" nirmala ended call "shravan tumhari coffee aa jayegi, aur please jaldi taiyyar ho jao waha sab wait kar rahe hai, mein pushkar, ria aur rishi ko bhi bolke aati hu woh log bhi jayenge tumhare sath" nirmala yelled while taking out his cloths from closet
she saw kamal entering room with coffee when she was about to leave and instructed him to get coffee for pushkar and rishi, ria into their rooms quickly and left from there
Shravan came out after taking quick hot shower, an admiring smile crept on his face when he saw how his mother how deliberately made him wear cloths of her choice so that he should look good all the time "my sweetheart" he murmured
after getting ready shravan came to downstairs soon pushkar, ria and rishi also joined him, on his utter surprise eti and ehan was the first one who was ready and waiting for him near car, after some intrude from the guests they left for tiwari kila.
Ria was so excited to see all indian rituals so there was no chance for rishi to deny and as usual pushkar only need chance to sneak some time with his love so he was more than happy to accompany his brother.

Tiwari killa
Soon they reached TK, tiwari's welcomed them after some chit chat ria made her way to suman's room by excusing herself and all boys stayed at living room with sameer and nanu while mausaji was busy in all preparations of puja, kids started playing around the house
"suman honey you are looking beautiful" ria chirped from the door of sumo's room
sumo recognized owner of voice quickly and turned excitedly with some awe on her face as ria addressed her as honey , ria sprinted and hugged her tightly.
Sumo also reciprocated hug, she really felt very close and this bonding was unlike other her friends with whome her friendship got stronger by degrees infact she dont even have friends whom she can say close more than 2-3 , ria was so full of the joys of spring
"waise suman muze ek baat batao, tum log kaise manage karate ho? matlab kar kaise leto yaar?" ria's voice was filled with wonder
sumo didnt deciphered what she was saying, her forehead creased "kya bol rahi ho ria?"
"ohh, chupe rustam kahi ke har baar apani costumes match kar lete ho, how romantic" ria winked and started grinning ear to ear
"uff...he bhagwan ab yeh kya naya syappa hai, kaise hum logo ke dresses firse match ho sakate hai, yeh saree ke baare me to vandy bhabhi ko nahi pata tha?" her thoughts broke by preeti
"are ria didi jab ek dusare se etana pyar jo karate hai toh yeh sab toh hona hi hai na heart to heart connection you know" preeti teased sumo by stressing etana pyar and hifived with ria
"pyar my foot" sumo fumed inwardly "ye bata nahi sakta tha kya pahane wala hai? ab firse sab bolenge kitane perfect couple hai, aur enaki choice kaise match karati hai har waqt blah blah" she mused in irritation
"chachi chaliye sab aapko bahar bula rahe hai" ehaan informed trio hastily and dashed out of the room
Sumo along with preeti and ria came out from her room to join others near mandir, shravan was facing his back to her he was wearing white knee lenght kurta and salwar with light golden waist length nehru jacket over it "esane toh white pahana hai aur light golden jacket hai aur meine to peach saree pahani hai" she mused "paha nahi lagata hai ye dono pagal ho gayi hai kuchh bhi bolati hai" she rolled her eyes and move forward and took her place beside him as suggested bu mausaji
shravan turned her head toward her and stunned by seeing her in saree, she was looking beautiful his jaw dropped "shravan nahi aaj nahi you cant get affect by her so easily, so focus on puja" he shrugged of his thoughts snapping shut his mouth. he passed a small smile to sumo and she returned favor
Panditji completed puja, shraman bend down to take blessing from panditji together and other elders of family.
When sumo saw shravan completely her eyes went round since shravan was wearing peach pocket square perfectly matching shade of her saree
"shravan tumane yeh kyu pahana hai" sumo peeved as already got teasing from ria and preeti and she was pretty much sure that was not end "baki waqt etane phone karate ho ek baar call karke bata nahi sakate the ki kya pahanane wale ho?" she knew ve...

"muze kya pata ha tum kya pahane wali ho? aur hua kya aise kyu behave kar rahi ho fir se pagalpan ka daura pada hai kya?" his irked whisper irritated her more
he is impossible how could he be so insouciant where as she was facing teasing about this coincidence, she pointed out his pocket square "yeh bol rahi hu dusara koi color nahi mila tha tumhe, ab firse sab chidhana shuru kar denge" she whined in irritation
the moment he registered her words he dazed by his decision of wearing peach pocket square, nirmala selected royal blue even though he loved blue but something made him replaced it with peach one
Nanu's words urged them to come out from their complaining convo "beta aao tum sab log jaldi lunch kar lete hai badme bramhin bhoj hai usaki taiyyariya bhi karani hai"
"ji nanaji" shravan along with rishi headed toward dining table, all took their places masi, mami and sumo started serving lunch to all
"are beta meine waise nirmala ji ko to bata diya hai lekin phir se yaad dila du ki tum logo ko saman bhejana hai bramhin bhoj ke liye, jara jaldi bhej dena hum logo ko khana bhi banana hai" mami informed pushvan about ritual
"ji mamiji mein bata dunga maa ko" shravan replied with his sweet smile
All had lunch wth some more chit chat, eti persisted to have lunch by sumo's hand, sumo was reluctant but on rachana's urge she feed eti with her hands but later she enjoyed eti's cute talks and antics. All the time preekar was stealing shy glances of each other which was completely heeded by shravan, he took chance and gestured rishi also to notice preekar
"Nanaji ab hum chalate hai late ho raha hai, aur mein maa ko bol dunga rasam ke bare me" shravan took nanu's blessings and left followed by others
After malhotra's left all got busy in their respective work.
It was 3 in noon and kamini prepared all food along with other servants to send TK as per rasam, she was about to call tiwari killa when she precieved shravan coming to living room "shravan puttar achha hua tu aa gaya, ek kaam kar na tiwari killa call kar aur puch kab khana bhejana hai" kamini was anxious since it was already late as tiwari's told they should send all food by 3 and food was still at malhotra's house
shravan took her hand in his and made her sit at couch "Meri pyari chachi aap pahale to shant ho jaiye , nahito wrinkles pad jayenge etane pyare se mukhade pe" shravan winked naughtily, kamini smiled and cupped his face with one had lovingly
"kuchh bhi aivehi, tu bhi na" she smiled shyly
"mein abhi phone lagata hu okay now relax" he fished out his phone from pocket and dialled suma's number, kamini signaled him to put call on speaker and he did as said
"haan shravan bolo"
"sumo woh chachi bol rahi hai ki khana ban gaya hai waha bhijwa de kya?"
"shravan muze to jyada es rasam ke baare me kuch pata nahi mein mamijise puchati hu, ek min hold karo woh kitchen mein hai" she headed to kitchen
"Okay, unhe bolo chachi baat karengi" he waited silently meanwhile nirmala along with dadi and vandy reached and sat beside them
"mami woh shravan ka call hai, woh chachiji aapse baat karna chahati hai" sumo forwarded phone but manju was busy so she asked her to put phone on speaker
"namaste kaminiji, hum manju baat kar rahe hai" manju greeted them happily
"namaste ji, actually yeh puchana tha ki khana ban gaya hai bhijwa de kya waha?" other ladies also concentrated on convo
"are nahi nahi,maaf kariye lekin woh aapko khana nahi bhejana tha, aapko to sirf kachha rashan bhejana tha, khana yaha hum logo ke yaha banan tha, aur sham ko bramhano ko chadhana tha" manju stated rule of rasritual earnestly
Kamini became edgy and defensive on manju's reply "leh ab aap bata rahi hai ye, ab enna sara jo khana ban gaya hai usaka kya kare hum log? kisako khilayenge bhai?" kamini vexed and other ladies also agitated
manju and sumo got tensed "dekhiye sambhanji rit ko to rit ke hisab se hi nibhana padega na" manju replied timidly thinking about what will be their reaction
"are manju ji lekin pahale bata dete na aap log to etani mehnat waste nahi hoti na bas esiliye aur koi baat nahi hai" nirmala jumped in firmly
"haan ji bataya tha lekin lagta hai samazane me galati ho gayi, lekin kya dikkat hai khana hi to hai aap log kha lijiye" manju suggested smiling apprehensively but tension was clear on her face too, sumo put her hand on mami's shoulder to reassure her
"hehe...naji na ,shayad aap bhul gayi hai ke aapke samdhi punjabi hai aur hum log bina lahsoon aur pyaz ka paka hua khana bilkul nahi khate" kamini's sarcastic retort urged all malhotra's to smile "humare liye khane me swad nahi to jaan nahi" her voice was dripping with proud of being punjabi others also nodded in support
manju and sumo gazed each other in tension "are sambhaji ek baar satvik khana kha ke to dekhiye,tamas dur ho jayegi" jested and nudges sumo while suppressing her smile
kamini heard their gigling from other side which irked her more "thik hai thik hai , aapka kachha saman pohach jayega dhanyawad"
shravan and sumo turned off speaker "samaz gaye shravan ?" she cocked her brow
"ji madam acchese bye" he blithed and ended call
"tum jananiyon ka mein kya karu ek kaam bhi tum logo se dhang se nahi hota hai, 3-3 maharaniya hai ghar me lekin kam ki ek nahi" dadi chastised her 3 bahu's turning their faces into a sullen pout
Soon nirmala sent all raw material along with pushkar to tiwari killa.
Since it was alredy late due to all confusion drama sumo also helped manju and rachana so that they can finish everything before priest's reach their home.
All priests came on time and had their food contently, everyone praised food and left after giving their blessing to tiwari's. After dinner both families called it a day early as next day it was haldi.
