Hi all.
Welcome to the 'CV Part 1- Can Love Happen Twice? (A RagNa FF)'!
I am like so happy to finally let you know what I had planned. Hope you have a great read.
About the story- When I had started with this FF, I was stuck between two tracks for this FF. But when I thought about it like months after as I couldn't come up further with the story as it would mess up somewhere or the other, so now finally I'll go with the second option. I tried editing the previous chapters only to know that the topic has been closed. Alas, I would suggest you all to forget whatever happened in those chapters and take this one as a totally different one. Hope you like it.

Kapoor's daughter in law, Kalpana Kapoor was a loved and happy member of a super happy family. (Kapoor's are way too good in here)
She herself was the owner of Jadhav Infrastructures set up by her dad. Her family was quite not of those happy types just because of her mother, Kamla. She was an extremely bitter person. Her dad whom she loved so much had also died in a tragic car accident three years ago. And her only brother had shifted to America to continue his career as an artist because business was something which didn't interest him.
Everything was perfect in her life. Until that day. The day Prem died, the day the Kapoor family lost their biggest support. A bereaved Kalpana couldn't imagine staying up in the same house which held so many memories of him. She considered herself to be weak to withstand his memories every single moment she spent in there. Therefore, rejecting Sahil Kapoor's offer to her to take over the Kapoor Industries, she made her mind to shift to Dubai alone. The Kapoor's weren't ready at first but they let her go only if she promised to visit them regularly which was readily accepted by her.
Kalpana took her leave from her country and her people to start a new life in Dubai.
As soon as she landed in Dubai, a message popped up on someone's phone.
"She has landed just now. Time to get our plan in action."
The other end replied.
"Yes Sir. This time we'll destroy him."
As Kalpana now reached her new house she sorted it out and got some rest after having some fast food she picked up on the way.
This was all very new for Kalpana, she had not done anything alone. She was always accompanied by Prem, be it school, college and afterwards the same home. He treated her like his little doll who should always be under his protection and Kalpana adored this nature of his.
Next day, her first day in her office as a CEO and she had a major meeting with the Singhania Group of Companies. Of course, Raghav was there.
Right before the meeting, as Kalpana stood in middle of the corridor which led to the washroom taking a call, Raghav had accidentally bumped into her while on his way to the washroom.
And the heat turned up in the room. (Get your own imagination here with the falling and the catching and the eyelock and the touching and then the awkwardness.)
Even during the whole meeting, Raghav didn't leave a chance to stare back at her if he felt her slightest of gazes. She was indeed irritated at this behaviour of his and therefore put him into the category of 'Mannerless Men'.
And not to forget, the line which Raghav said after being asked if he had a yes for the alliance with the company.
"Of course, who wouldn't like to forge an alliance with you, Mrs. Kapoor."
*People give awkward looks whereas Kalpana looks on baffled*
"I mean an alliance with her company! Come on everyone."
*Little laughter surrounds the room while he shakes hands with her and leaves*
Kalpana was so horrified at his behaviour and felt like choking the life outta him only if the deal hadn't mattered.
Not to mention, Raghav was already in her bad books.
Kalpana was totally alone in Dubai. No friends and no family. She just went to office and used to come back home. All the basic necessities required for life was directly delivered to her.
Raghav used to live in the same apartments, just a different block. Kalpana didn't knew that as she never saw him there, but he did.
The next time they meet is after they are convinced and signed in by a known friend producer of them to perform at the Business Meet of 2017. It was where the biggest business people met and awards were given out. One of the most prestigious of award functions for the business people.
Kalpana couldn't deny at all cause the person who had asked her to do it was a really good and close family friend. But her partner being chosen as Raghav himself did possibly turn her off a lot.
The dance practice started from next week and it had to last a whole month.
They both were quite good dancers so it didn't prove as a burden on them.
During the initial week, Kalpana would keep a good distance from him during the breaks by going and sitting in her car for that part. Slowly and slowly Kalpana stopped doing that and Raghav loved it. Kalpana had started to think that maybe she had made a wrong first impression of him and he was otherwise nice cause he was really polite and caring, didn't try invading her privacy during the first week, maintained a needed distance from her and got her healthy lunch everyday (you know, the diet one). She eventually started being comfortable with him and smiling more. The practices weren't boring anymore, one mistake in dance and the room would be surrounded with peals of laughter. In the last week of their dance practice, Raghav started asking her personal questions which she did answer to an extent. But on the very last day of the practice, when he asked her about not having kids even after 4 years of marriage with Prem, Kalpana was taken aback, she didn't expect a question like this to pop up. Raghav didn't apologise for his question, rather he sat there staring right into her eyes waiting for her answer, if she had any.
Kalpana immediately got up and left towards the sea facing balcony, with teary eyes.
Raghav rushed after her and watched her cry but as soon as he opened his mouth to apologise finally, Kalpana stopped him.
"No, it's fine. Everybody asks me this but I guess you're the only one who's getting to know the reason. Prem and I were best friends since childhood. He cared and loved me as his best friend even after our marriage but could never be a complete husband to me. He never gave me the rights I deserved. With that I mean physical rights, rights over his body. He never touched me. I don't know why but he was never ready to take it to the next level. I was hurt of course and this was the only part where he didn't try understanding my pain because that made me feel bad about myself as if he was hiding something from me. This even made me question myself and if I was actually good enough for him or not. And I guess that's it."
Kalpana passed a look at him and left him alone in the balcony. She didn't have more courage to wait for his response.
"It wasn't your fault, Mrs. Kapoor. It wasn't." Raghav mumbled to himself after she left.
A day after their last practice, they had their performance.
It was the awards night already and Kalpana was getting dressed up for their act. Just 2 hours left for their performance and Raghav was to be seen nowhere. Everybody tried contacting Raghav but all in vain. Worry was evident on everybody's face due to his sudden disappearance. Just one hour to the performance and Kalpana called up Sammy to know about his best friend's whereabouts.
"Even I'm trying to contact him, Mrs. Kapoor. Day before yesterday, he was home at night but in the morning he was gone and all he left was a note saying that he has to go somewhere immediately and that he'll be back in time for the performance. That's all I know."
Kalpi cut the call after thanking him and sat waiting on him with their team.
5 minutes left, still no trace.

Their four minute act started and Raghav's position was given to the best boy dancer in their group.
Half way through the dance, Raghav made a heroic entry on the stage welcomed by rounds of cheer and applause. The dance was completed with him taking the lead.
Kalpana didn't talk to him at all after the performance due to his irresponsible behaviour.
After a few days, Raghav and Kalpana met again on the site of their new project to discuss business.
Just as their discussion came to an end, Kalpana turned to leave only to be stopped by Raghav. He asked her for just one chance so that he could make her forgive him. Kalpi wasn't even allowed to deny, she was forcefully made to sit in the car and he drove off.
He took her to a lavish restaurant and had an extravagant dinner with her.
Kalpana loved such dinners and he knew that. With the dessert, there accompanied a sorry card for her which made her giggle cause it had some really funny doodles on it. She forgave her that night.
Kalpana was slowly and slowly becoming dependent on Raghav to keep her happy in her sad world but she maintained the right distance at all times too.
Every now and then, Raghav took her to lunches and dinners in the name of business.
Kalpana used to trust people quite easily, so she had started trusting Raghav already.
But one dinner night, Raghav mixed something into her drink which made her drowsy and unable to manage things on her own.
Just as the drug started working on her more effectively, Raghav helped her to a room in the same hotel.
After laying Kalpana on the bed, he sprinkled water on her face just to keep herself from sleeping.
The drug made the consumer yearn for sleep making him or her prone to answer everything truthfully as the brain couldn't focus on making lies or coming up with excuses. And after the sleep, the person mostly forgets what happened with them and it feels just like a bad hangover in the morning.
"Mrs. Kapoor, okay tell me why did you marry Prem? Did you love him?" He asked with a deep questioning gaze.
She chuckled.
"No, I didn't love him at that time. And marriage? (Laughs)"
"Yes, the marriage?" He repeated sternly.
"(Laughs).. I'll tell you a secret. (She winks at him and moves closer to his ear) It was to fool our parents."
"What do you mean by that?" A puzzled Raghav questioned.
"OMG! You ask so many questions! Now let me sleep." She blurted out and closed her eyes.
Raghav shook her awake and made her sit properly.
"Please tell me. Why did you fool them?"
She made an irritated face and continued.
"We both were simply being forced to get married. So we simply married each other to get rid of the regular drama and it was no big deal staying together cause we were way more comfortable with each other. And also.."
"Also?"
"Also due to my money minded Mother. At that point, our business wasn't doing much good so she wanted me to get married to Prem so that she could get the Kapoor's to fund our company. And they did fund after the marriage. Such nice people, I tell you."
"Okay. Now tell me one more thing, where did Prem leave for before dying?"
"Australia."
"And what was the reason for his death?"
"Heart attack."
Just as she started recollecting everything, Kalpana started crying. She missed Prem, a lot.
"Hey stop crying." Raghav tried soothing her by rubbing her back but Kalpana wouldn't stop. It was finally that she was letting pain out of her heart. Now as Kalpana stopped crying, Raghav continued with his work after making her drink water.
"Okay tell me.. how are the shares of your company distributed?"
"40. 40. 20." She mumbled.
"What?!"
"40 percent each for Dada and me. Rest 20 percent with our mother."
"And what does the rules of your company says about taking decisions for the company? Like how much percent of shares are needed to take a decision individually?"
"60 percent."
"Does your brother or mom take any decisions in the company except accepting the various contracts and all?"
"No. I do everything. But why are you asking all this! You wanna buy us out? (Laughs hysterically)."
And she dozed off again.
Raghav hurriedly sprinkled water on her and made her sit upright.
"Now hurry up, tell me. Which extremely profiting deals did you sign in the last six months?"
"What kind of question is this? I don't remember. We have many." And she chuckled.
"Let's simplify this. Did you sign a deal with anyone of the name Luigi Burke or a company named Globex Corporation?"
"What? Lu.. lu.. litchi? What a funny name to have! (Laughs loudly). I love litchi anyway."
Raghav was furious. Things were not working out based upon his plans but he still tried keeping calm.
"Next question. Does drugs have a huge profitable market in India?"
"It does have but I don't know when this thing will be banned effectively! It's the cause of ruining so many innocent lives. Now let me sleep plleeasseee."
"Sure but only after this last question."
She starts fake crying only to be shushed by Raghav.
"Why do you hate your mother?"
Kalpana actually started forming tears leaving Raghav puzzled. He knew the answer was indeed painful.
"Because.. because.. she.. she never loved me like she loved Dada. She never treated us equally. It was only my Baba who loved me as his most prized possession in the whole world, but he left me too."
And that was it, Kalpana broke into tears due to her painful past which started resurfacing her mind.
Raghav accused himself for her tears cause that was a question he put in himself, that question was not planned.
Raghav leaned in closer and wiped her tears only for her to tightly hug him in response. He kept on caressing her back as she slowly fell asleep on him.
After that, Raghav dropped in Kalpana at her home and tucked her into her bed after leaving silently.
Raghav just knew one thing after this question answer session and it was the thing that Kalpana was innocent and his plan was failing in a way. And also, that he had started falling for her.
He now went out of the country for 2 weeks only to leave everyone worried due to his sudden disappearance. His mobile was out of network and he wouldn't even reply to mails or messages being sent to him.
Kalpana got to know about his disappearance when he didn't show up for their site meeting and was instead attended my Sammy.
2 weeks to his disappearance, Kalpana receives a call from him on Sunday. Raghav calls her to his house which was situated in the same apartments.
Kalpana reached there to find him standing in the living room, his back facing her.
Raghav turned back at her with worried eyes and hurriedly went and closed the doors after making her sit.
"Kalpana, I know this is confusing but I haven't got much time. So just give me 10 minutes while you simply listen. Will you?"
She nodded, puzzled.
"First of all, the Raghav Singhania who was in front of the world since last 8 years was a disguise placed by someone. It's just since last 1 year that I'm out, the real Raghav Singhania. There's this drug dealer and a human trafficker by the name Luigi Burke who wanted and still wants to increase this illegal trade in India. 8 years ago, I wasn't a person who was serious with life. Instead, I was one of those spoilt brats who just partied and drank. One such night, in Dharamsala, me and my friends were celebrating a friend's birthday. After drinking a lot, I came out of the disco on the quiet streets of the town for some fresh air only to be kidnapped by a van. I was taken to a quieter part on the hills and as it was night and I was heavily drunk, I was defenceless. Without taking another moment, they shot three bullets right into my chest and watched me fall off the cliff into the dead cold river. It could have been the last day of my life if the undercover cops of India wouldn't have recovered me. The bullets by chance didn't pierce through my heart and my heavy alcohol consumption kind of kept me warm in the icy could river. It took me 2 months to get off the bed rest but I was at least saved. The secret agents kept me under their protection until I was well. But the day I said that I wanna go back home. They said you can't. I was totally shook. Like why? Why can't I go back! Because someone took your place there already and you are not anymore missing for the world, they told me. I was then showed a footage where a duplicate of me had taken my place everywhere and I noticed that he did everything just like the way I did! It was as if seeing myself in the mirror. The undercover cops also told me that my father had died of an heart attack after a few days to the Dharamsala incident. I had never known actual pain in my life until that day. I was now an orphan but couldn't even cry on the fact because someone else had took my place. I wasn't the Raghav Singhania for the world anymore and I also didn't have anyone to take care of me now. Everything was ruined. After Dad's death, the whole property and businesses shifted to the duplicate's hands making him the king of the Singhania empire. I was enraged and wanted revenge for snatching away something which was mine and also for killing my dad. Yes, they had killed him with an injection which made his heart fail. Also during that time Burke was trying his best to expand his illegal business in India with a hidden support from the major companies in transportation and stuff. In that attempt, only Singhania Group collaborated with him readily while the other groups didn't. Which eventually lead to having a failure in coming to India. This also made clear for us that the duplicate was placed by Luigi himself to have the biggest company in his support. I also got to know that Luigi had approached dad multiple times only to be refused to provide any help. This had certainly enraged him and he played this big game to satisfy his rage and also build his business. 8 years later which is now, he's back in India. He already has a number of companies under him which includes both our companies. Singhania and the Jadhavs.(Kalpana's shocked expression but she doesn't say anything) Luigi doesn't know that the duplicate is under our arrest and is thus trusting me like his own. There's only one problem with him. He doesn't meet anybody and talks only through calls. I am just waiting for the day he accepts to meet me and that day will be his last."
He walks upto Kalpana as she was still sitting in a shock processing the information given to her.
After kneeling down at her feet and holding her hands, he said.
"Kalpana."
She looked down at him.
"Prem didn't die because of a heart attack." He said and looked at her with pain on his face.
Kalpana felt her body going numb. She couldn't process what he said.
Raghav stroke his thumb gently on her hands and continued.
"Remember the day when some armed men came to your house and Prem lied that they were the new bodyguards? They weren't. They were men sent by Luigi to threaten Prem to come to Dubai or else they'll finish off the family. Prem was approached for support too but he denied and also tried contacting the Police Commissioner but as the Commissioner was out of town due to some urgent work, a meeting was fixed for day after tomorrow after the denial for the help. But it was late, Luigi had already managed to get Prem sent to Dubai which is his main base forcefully and was murdered the same way my dad was murdered."
Tears fell on Raghav's hands which made him look up to see her blankly crying without any expression. He knew it was too much for her but he had to tell her cause she didn't deserve to live in lies.
"I have a meeting with Luigi next week and we plan to kill him that day. We'll avenge the harm done to our families Kalpana, finally we'll do it. The whole world is busy finding him and we have managed to finally reach so closer. It will take me a month but if it takes longer just consider me dea--"
"NO! NOT ANOTHER DEATH. PLEASE. You'll return. I know that and you should know that too."
Kalpana said by putting a comforting hand on his shoulder. Raghav was overwhelmed, it was after so long that finally someone cared for his life.
He nodded.
"Yes. I'll be back. Just for you." He replied with a gentle smile.
"Where did you disappear during the performance day?"
"Ahh.. that. It was a stressful day. The duplicate managed to escape and we were really worried as to what if Luigi gets to know about this! But with God's grace, we managed to trace him back within hours."
"And what about this recent 2 week disappearance?"
"That was an immediate meeting to discuss our plan because Luigi had finally accepted to meet me."
Kalpana nodded while Raghav looked at her with love filled eyes.
"Any more questions?"
Kalpana gave a questioning look to him wondering if she should ask it or not. But she finally did.
"What was that thing about my company's involvement? I didn't even got a deal with them."
Raghav took a deep breath and took her hands in his.
"I know you aren't involved but your company is. And before this one month ends, I need you to find who's behind this. Okay? Will you do this much for me?"
Kalpana was shocked but she still nodded.
While Kalpana was still thinking about the worst possibilities, Raghav quietly slid a pistol into her hand.
Even before she could question him, he said.
"That's just for your safety. And if you find someone following you or things like that, please do not think about using it twice. Also, for this one month, make safety your utmost priority. I don't wanna see any harm be falling you. Is it okay?"
Kalpana nodded and Raghav squeezed her hand lovingly before getting up and guiding her to her home. After that, he left for his mission and Kalpana continued with her life.
All those days in which Kalpana couldn't see Raghav, broke her somewhere. She was now habitual of seeing his forever smiling face but in those days, she actually missed him. She missed his smile, his poetic eyes, his deep voice, his wonderful aura, his soothing cologne and him. She missed all of him and it was only after he was gone she started understanding her feelings for him but it's always better late than never.
The one month was nearing its end and Kalpana had already found the culprit who could've totally ruined her business. She was devastated and she now needed Raghav to soothe her.
Here Raghav and his team were in a crisis. Luigi Burke had already got to know about their plan and he had called Raghav to counter attack them which was not at all expected by Raghav and the team of undercover cops. It was found out that due to that 5 hour escape of the duplicate, Luigi had known the truth. It turned into a great fight between them which included staying hidden for weeks to save their lives. Many members from both the sides were killed and thus this war between them lasted for over 2 and a half months which was ultimately won by Raghav's side. Luigi was dead. The world was now a safer place.
This news spread like wildfire and India was acclaimed for their brave act. Many team members were reported dead with not much information about them pained Kalpana. She was happy cause they won but she was also sad because Raghav hadn't still returned.
After almost 3 months of wait, Raghav finally returned. He came out later just so that he doesn't get counted under the list of secret agents of India cause he surely wasn't one. Everything was finally back to normal in his life and now he could life the rest of his life peacefully.
Raghav knocked on Kalpana's door in Dubai only to find it locked. He tried finding her everywhere he thought she could be but she wasn't anywhere. Raghav was shattered. He then went to his own home to find a piece of paper tucked away in the hanging plant. Raghav smiled faintly reading the piece of paper and he rushed to Mumbai to finally meet his Kalpana.
Just as he reached the Jadhav Mansion, there was a really unpleasant scene on roll.
Mrs. Kamla Jadhav was being arrested and taken away while Kalpana and Pakhya looked on.
The moment Kalpana noticed Raghav's presence, her beautiful eyes started brimming with tears. All the happenings in these three months started tearing her apart. And also the way she had started feeling for Raghav in these days was insane and the amount she had missed him, was something you can never explain. And the only way she could've conveyed that all in once was by hugging him. And she did just that. Raghav was taken back at the force with she came. It was actually the force at which her love had finally merged with his soul forever. Raghav took her in to his strong arms and kept her there for endless moments.
"I missed you, Raghav. Please don't ever leave me again." She said sobbing into his shirt.
He smiled and gently caressed her hair.
"Never baby, never."He cooed into her ears.
And that was their way of conveying their love to each other which was to bind them for ever. After all, not everyone says 'I love you'.

Now let me guess, are you guys thinking about the Kamla part? Wait, I'll tell you what happened. It was just that I didn't want the evil impact of her presence to ruin my story lol.
Kamla actually hated her own daughter Kalpana just because her beloved son didn't take up the family business. Oh yes, she was dumb enough to not understand her son's choices. She thought that Vitthal was partial lol just because he understood the kids better. After Vitthal's death, Kamla was free. She could do as she pleased. Luigi was a clever villain, he knew about everything and everyone. He thus contacted her for the deal rather than Kalpana or Pakhya. She also accepted the deal readily when she was fooled by saying that the company would be out of Kalpana's control and the profits would be her's and Pakhya's. This dumb woman then got Prem to sign it in some way and thus the 60% thing allowed for the deal to pass. But she was caught when everything about Luigi Burke started flooding the media after his death. Kalpana and Pakhya were charged high penalties though.
Also, Prem was gay but I didn't knew how to put it in the story. He realized that after marriage though.
Too much of plotting and less of RagNa, I know.
