Is Maya capable of loving?

What Maya needs is someone who is capable of loving her unconditionally. And all Arjun needs is space. I wonder what has he done to gain Maya's trust? I'm not justifying Maya's behavior in any way, but I cannot justify Arjun's behavior as well. Before the three years leap, Arjun was more or less intoxicated with the position Maya had offered him in the office. Maya would catch him flirting with his office assistants now and then and that's when she got into a habit of keeping an eye on him through cctv cameras. After the leap, you can see that because life didn't turn out to be the way he thought it would, he has started to get frustrated with Maya. He was expecting a life full of ayaashi, fun, masti, and full of luxury. Unfortunately, he forgot that the woman he is with comes from a lot of baggage, and its just not Maya who needs to understand the meaning of true love. Arjun needs to understand the overall meaning of relationships and how to maintain them as well. He could never bee a good son, he was never a good friend, and now he's incapable of dealing with his current scenario and fit into a husbands shoes. What he is good at is leaving relationships when they get complicated. I haven't seen him sit and explain to Maya his cause of frustration with her. All I see is Maya running after him. I don't pity Arjun, I pity Maya because she is in a one sided relationship and unfortunately there's nobody who can shake her and show her the true face of their relationship.

Love is a different feeling for each individual

First she needs to learn difference between love and obsession

For that she needs a good psychiatrist to fix all her lose screws.

i think she could be very capable of loving someone bt for that she needs to be on meds. whether its a mental issue or just her personality being broken coz of her past she needs to deal with it. bt i think that she could never be capable to love Arjun properly. he is immature and he does not make her feel secure or truly safe. and the closeness he had with saanhj made her feel that at some point he will wakeup to the fact that his feelings for saanjh is more then friends. and one has to wonder why she feels like there could be more from arjuns side for saanhj even when he showed no emotion for saanhj. and i feel like this is where her past comes in aka samay. they might have been friends and it ended up falling for one another.

i do think though that a partner who was actually in love with her could have helped maya more. and i do think she is capable of love. but arjun and her i dnt think so she thinks of him as a pet or a life sized doll that she can play with. or a bird she wants to cage. she loves him but he is nothing bt a toy for her.

Totally agree to this

Maya'/ definition of love is control, she thinks as long as you can control your love everything is safe. Unless she is cured of her problems she won't be able to love anyone in the true sense.

She is.

But first she should stop seeing everything as a toy, with regard to emotions. A toy that should listen to everything of her. It basically stems from the fact that that is how Ashwin treated her. Now, she wants to play. It is not that she doesn't differentiate between right or wrong, but she justifies wrong too. She confessed all(most) of her mistakes to Ganesha, that shows her sense of right and wrong.

She doesn't love Arjun, she is obsessed with the idea of Arjun, who listens to her and if he doesn't she makes him listen to her..In the same way Arjun doesn't love her, was he even given time to understand and love Maya, instead he was forced into marriage and on it a case, then separation from all his loved ones. The biggest mistake of his was telling ILU to Maya, because he was still in kind of dating phase, which had to go slow, not rushed.

She is capable of loving, but only when she knows who Maya is. It is like a young girl's crush, a girl who still has no identity of her own, she doesn't know herself yet. She made this crush into a very serious thing called marriage..First she should understand herself, and then she will be able to understand others. If she learns to love herself, she can love others...

She wants to protect jhanvi and Arjun from any harm

She craves love. She is an extremely lonely girl and always has been. People have hurt, abused, used her. Despite being so beautiful and successful, not even ONE person genuinely cared for her in her ENTIRE LIFE..Imagine how she must feel.. when she thought Arjun finally is someone who cares, he started flirting with other girls and whatnot. This is why she is now like this..in her mentally sick state, she can't even know what is right or wrong - forget love!

The wife can hardly trust the husband! So, she takes the help of ropes to keep her husband tied, if he goes out of control!
And the 'dumb hubby' is not all that dumb! He is also a learner, you see, albeit little slow!
Now, how does he deal with his wife when he can not trust her?! (He cares for her life & does not want to lose her, when he is away!)

So, how does he handle her?
What else? Tie her!
As long as ropes & hand-cuffs are available,in their house, they will stay "tied & secured"
Who needs love?
