Why nobody takes Maya to a shrink?

Maya clearly shows all signs of some serious mental disorder. Arjun obviously sees all these signs, calls her paagal, paglet, but never has he ever taken to a psychologist? Why?
He was playing the victim card stating that Maya tortures him and blah blah.. couldn't he have once taken her to a doctor to make sure that his wife doesn't turn total cuckoo. Even if he is totally ignorant and didn't notice the other signs, how could he miss the fact that she is suicidal, suicidal people needs to be taken to a doctor. The more you leave a mental disorder untreated, the more it will grow.

I don't think Maya has a chance now. Nobody ever thinks about trying to cure her or understanding that why is she behaving like this. All they do is insult her, dump garbage on her, slap her, try to rape her.

I'm not justifying Maya's actions because of her mental condition. But she needs help! All they do is keep provoking her and then when she reacts, they all start their victim jaap.

It's pathetic that Arjun hasn't realized that Maya needs professional help...
but I guess the CV's are trying to show that often we ignore our family's behavior and think they will get better. Instead of doing that we should seek professional help instead of calling them pagal...
