Maya does have a soft side and has shown it many times. But whoever has come in her life has given her nothing but pain. Neither did she have supportive parents, nor a good MIL nor a good friend nor a right husband.

Jhanvi wanted the freedom to meet Ashwin though she knows that he will hurt & torture Maya. Did she even stand for her when Ashwin was torturing & abusing her? Then it is VM who has always been cold towards Maya. When she had put genuine efforts to change, Vandana was always taunting, nagging & calling her names 24/7, humiliating & throwing garbage on her. Then it is Saanjh who has been coming between Arjun & Maya. No decent woman would call a married man at late night only to caress a married man. If she had not seen the tattoo, she would have kissed his chest. Then it is Arjun who always wants an easy way. He can love a person as long as he gets freedom.

He never really had regard for Panda before Maya entered his life. He has insulted Saanjh whenever she tried to knock some sense into his head. It was Arjun's decision to break the relations with his family, manipulation or not. But Vandana is responsible to a large extent. Arjun is now conveniently washing his hands, blaming Maya though it was his decision.

Arjun has no right to tell that no one should get a wife like Maya when he is not proper at the first place. He wants the freedom to booze, flirt with girls and eat the unhealthy food. He does not understand relationships. He is neither a good son, nor a good brother, nor a good friend, nor a good husband. He takes everyone for granted. I say that no one should get a husband like Arjun. Not even my enemy.
