The movie is something like a rich girl is married to a villager (I think Randhir or Rishi Kapoor) because her father promised the villager's father that he would marry her daughter to him. The daughter gets married but she does not love the guy because he is a villager. So the villager, with the help of the girl's father, becomes famous (I think singer?) and then the girl goes for her but does not realize that it is her husband. At the end she finds out.
It is a very old movie I used to watch on TV and want to watch again because it was fun. But I can't seem to remember the name. Help, anyone?
