Maya and Amy Doone

After watching Samay s entry and his obsession for Maya he reminds me of Desi collings of gone girl. But unlike Desi collings samay is more social and manipulative.

When behad started there was said some where it was loosely based on gone girl.
After watching yesterday episode I realized behad can really take gone girl track.

In the movie Amy fed up with her husband's distance and infidelity plans her own death and frame Nick for her murder. And she almost succeed. But her plan goes fail in between and she forced to take refuge with Desi collings but end up killing him.
In the end she returns and saves Nick 's neck. Nick after knowing truth wants to leave her but stay with her for his child despite of his sister s protest.

Here I find Maya equal to Amy. She can do anything keep what is hers. And Arjun as miserable as nick.
Soon he is going to commit something drastic that will break Maya and Maya will go extreme to punish him.

And sanjh will stood with him. Sanjh being lawyer indicates she needs to defend arjun in future.

And samay will support Maya in time but will Maya love him back. Or samay will end up like desi collings.

But if Maya was indeed pregnant arjun will stay compromising his freedom.

Maya has already declared her intention in the very first episode itself! "If you can not control the love, then destroy it!" and she hammered down her mother's wedding ring! Ashwin died later, in the show, we know!
So, when she will perform her repeat act, this time with her own wedding ring, not so difficult to guess!
Saanjh too made her declaration! "If you lose it next time, I will not return it again!" or something to that effect, when she returned Maya's earring/stud in Mauritius!

Yes... Since the time this samay guy has entered I knew he was GG 's Desi . Amy had to kill him to escape from him!!! Such was his obsession n love 😉

Unpredictable Maya

Yes Samay is like Desi and honestly I liked Desi in GG too. Wish he and Amy ended up together so I am wishing that it happens in Beyhadh that Samay and Maya are together

It seems to be going in Gone Girl direction, regardless of who gets murdered. Maya is not as scary as Amy was in the book. Maya seems more confused to me; her actions don't jive with her big dialogues.

Indian shows tend to dumb down the plot line and smooth out the characters during remakes/"inspirations". Here too I think they made alterations in the characters to make them more palatable to the Indian tv audience.
