Vidya's fake pregnancy in Kahani is probably the only movie I have seen to shock me to my core like that lol I'll never forget that moment!

Hmmm good topic

here's my list

Sadma: Tragic tragic ending but what an ending, when everyone thought it would be a happy one but turns out sridevi's character just doesnt recognize kamal at all

Udaan: you just felt so happy when the lead returns back for his half brother and gives the viewer too a feeling of happiness and you enjoy his freedom, what a class movie

Kaun: Urmila just nailed it, gosh when she turns out to be the killer and her evil smile ,...brilliant

Rangeela : love the ending when aamir and Urmila engage in a nok-jhok and then she hugs him tight...perfect ending to this masala movie

Special 26: I knew akshay' and his gang were cons but never knew Jimmy shergill and Divya dutta's characters were in on the plan ...that was an unexpected twist for me

Kahaani: The ending gave me a jolt, never saw that coming

Mera Saaya, Teesri Manzil were other good ones in the olden classics

Oh damn I missed this thread. Some excellent answers here but Kahaani & Kaun just made me gaaasp so loudly I think my mother thought I've stopped breathing. 😆

Vidya was sooo goosebumpingly amazing as the agent & it was this genius idea because who on Earth could have dreamt up that a pregnant, waddling lady would actually be the double agent?!! It's also the ultimate idea because pregnant women are helped & catered to THE MOST & they elicit vulnerability & care!! And I loved how gently they showed how deeply affected the police inspector was , but it was never spoken about or even acknowledged to be true yet we know he goes above & beyond because this pregnant, helpless determined lady is intriguing to him.

Kaun- That entire ending!! 1 of my fav films & I don't watch the ending but it'll forever piss the hell out of me that a talent like Urmi isn't given any movies now!!! Just for the ending she deserves 5!!

Recently the ending that I found very unexpected and was good was in Kai Po Che ... never expected the way those 3 friends ended and then a grown up Ali hitting that shot in the cricket field .
