Agree..Proves that the industry is male dominated ..I don't know about others but if bkd had Shraddha in it,I wudnt have gone to the theatre to watch it

Of course it is. She did a great job and her character was by no means a flowerpot, it was her decision at interval point that eventually drove the rest of the film and made significant impact on Badri's growth. And above everything else the film is a love story, can't work without the female lead. Would've fallen flat if it wasn't for their chemistry for which they both deserve credit. Generally speaking Badri as a character had more layers to him so Varun had more scope to perform but Alia still did really well.

Honestly speaking though outside the virtual world I do see her getting significant appreciation. General consensus is that Varun was amazing, but Alia was great too. She's not gotten completely sidelined, people are going to remember this as a Varun-Alia film.
