I don't think Arjun and Saanjh are meant to be for the reason that Arjun is not good enough for any of the two girls. Saanjh is the one who loved him truly, cared for him and his family, supported him always but what did Arjun do? Treat her as a robotic friend, whenever he wanted to scream at her blame her jr did and whenever he tried to patch up things he would do. Saanjh like a machine would go according to Sir Arjun's moods. Many people have problem that why Saanjh always used to interfere in Arjuns life even after he was married. She did it because Arjun was so dumb and indecisive that Saanjh would feel and try solving his issues only as a friend. Not once did she actually wish after marriage that their marriage breaks and the kiss scene she stopped herself getting carried away in emotions after she realized Maya is Arjun s reality. Not due to the tatoo but due to the name in the tatoo. It was wrong for her to get too close and almost kiss but imagine you love a person your whole life and even if drunken state he says ILU to you even if its fake you will even forget your own name at that time because you waited ages for that one sentence to hear. She almost would have forgotten everything and got swayed in emotions and then bam came back to reality. Every person is sometimes right or wrong. No one's a saint so blaming Saanjh for humanly mistakes is stupid.
Coming to the topic, sorry for deviating away but to conclude Saanjh could be the perfect partner for Arjun since she loves him so much but Arjun can never be a good partner for Saanjh as he never really loved her and just passed his time with her.
Coming to Maya, I disagree with the part that Maya could not be good partner to Arjun. The thing about Maya is that she is an all rounder. She is the hero as well as the villain. It depends how you trigger her. Shes the "My way or the high way with no plus and minus" . Until you are on her way, her wish she will have soft corner for you but the moment you do anything that she doesn't like, she will cause destruction like a volcano. Now this attribute generally and normally doesn't make a person capable of being a good partner BUT IF Arjun was a good, compassionate person Maya could have been the most perfect partner for him. If Arjun was sincere, loyal and compassionate he would love Maya truly and when Maya would see Arjuns sincere and selfless love she would understand the feeling shes claiming as love is nothing but madness. She would know an entire new definition of love and that would initiate her healing process. After this, TLC tender love and care and knowing exactly whats her problem and doing her counselling medical help etc could heal her completely. Arjun could work really hard and build another branch of Fashion & the City and like this both could have been the most perfect for each other only if Arjun was not the way he is.
