Exactly. today's episode and the revelation that the spoiler was a lie has changed my perspective on neil. The guy is nursing a broken heart over a a dead girlfriend, yet is willingly ready to marry another girl by claiming he will never let his past cloud his future with riya and will keep her happy, whilst at the same time he is attracted to another girl and often flirting and thinking about her for no reason. Why?
This neil makes no sense whatsoever. How will his love story with avni make any sense? They might as well have just paired avni with ali, but have casted zain as ali of course instead of that gautam vig, and not have introduced this random neil character, because the two childhood friends turned lovers story is always great.
Now that they have spoiled any scope of there being any real depth to the avneil love stroy, these two characters, avni and neil, make no sense together. Yes they have chemistry, and a crackling one at that, but the story between the two characters and how their love story will be does not have a good foundation in the beginning and just makes the male lead seem stupid and like he can't make his mind up about what girl he likes or wants to be with.
I no longer really like neil's character. I love zain of course, but the character is stupid and makes no sense to me now. He just seems like another ashish who can't do justice with women by claiming he loves somebody else, but is willing to marry somebody else. But this neil is a three timer in comparison to the two-timing ashish, where neil is in love with another girl, willingly marrying another and flirting/following/thinking about a third girl. How on earth does neil's character make sense any more?
