Depends on how many haters a star has?

RK has much more haters than Kangu, so Rangoon was spared.

didn't the first trailer itself seal the deal as far as box office is concerned

these actors are not multi million unicorns where people would continue losing money

If such is the case then it was a smart move...

But I do think the unfair treatment she was was subjeted to because of her background (lack of) brought deep resentment. She was genuine imo.

Correction - KJO waited till Rangoon tanked so that he can hit KR when she is down.

If Rangoon was successful, same KJO would have praised Kangu's grit and humor !!

She played the card for promotion but for her bad luck the movie was a disaster and she vanished with absolutely nothing more to speak now.

Yes this I agree.

He kind of enjoyed it during the show and acted all good and reacted soon after movie flopped.
