Don't know if this was posted here but I just came to know yesterday that his son of 14 years recorded this! :D

Those who watched OK Jaanu, was this 'naat' played in the movie?? 😃

For those interested, his debut in playback singing was in a telugu movie released in September 2016, this one -

Such a cuuute voice ❤️ I can hear the papa a little in his singing style 😳

"Maula wa Sallim" is not a song, it's a "nasheed"/"naat". It's a beautiful naat ma sha Allah!

On a serious note defending the defenseless little innocent CUTE singer, I'd like to say that

IT'S NOT HIS FAULT IF HE WAS GIVEN CHANCE OWING TO HIS DAD, he is so cute and little, sings so well - let's appreciate and encourage him ..any bachcha is a bachcha afterall, should we stop encouraging them just because of their parents' background 😭 I agree that there are thousands of little kids with mindblowing talent, but since he has been launched, let's not strike him off as a product of nepotism.

A naat/nasheed is an islamic chant. It is mostly done a capella, sometimes accompanied by instruments (depends). The chant is mostly about praising our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the islamic beliefs etc.

A nasheed can be in any language..urdu/hindi, arabic, malaysian/indonesian, english...
