when both were asked how was it to perform...

they said we were little bit uncomfortable...but director was adamant...

what you all say...

song was a HIT was it necessary to show this ...

The scene is a very playful scene of a couple at the beach, very normal. Why is it unnecessary? If this is unnecessary, kissing scenes, item songs, love making scenes etc are also unnecessary. If the actors were uncomfortable they should not have signed the film.

If the FL wore a bikini instead of one piece it was somewhat of a big deal then...

But when men wore tight little speedos instead of trunks nobody questioned them... But times have changed...

I still wish they would switch to swim trunks and spare us 😊

Well Rangeela was said to be a bold and sensual movie. Urmila signed it knowing that so she is supposed to perform that. Now either you be in the position of power or control and refuse or when you are weak and in need then you abide. There is no place for cribbing.

I guess you mean comply instead of compile.

Personally those scenes aren't vulgar really but if the actors were not comfortable with it, those scenes weren't necessary in the song. The script doesn't demand it, like an actor would say.
