Ranveer Singh suffers an injury on his face; undergoes a minor surgery

This news about Ranveer Singh got us worried! The actor underwent a minor surgery recently. Our source reveals, "On Saturday evening, Ranveer had visited a clinic around 4 pm and left from there at 7pm. He had got a small dental surgery and wanted to cure it before he resume the shooting for his period drama Padmavati. He will be keeping himself away from shutterbugs as the doctors have advised him complete rest for a few days," concludes the source. On the professional front, Ranveer has been prepping for his shrewd yet powerful role of Alauddin Khilji. His intense look, that we spotted on him at a few events recently, has already left us intrigued. The film's shoot is currently on a standstill following fresh protests and case of vandalism on its set at Kolhapur. After being attacked by Karni Sena in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali had to incur losses after the set in Maharashtra was set afire and around a 1000 pieces of costumes rendered useless.
Coming back to Ranveer Singh, we are sure he will get some time to recover from his dental surgery before he starts shooting again. His co-star Deepika Padukone too is back in town after spending some quality time with her family in Bangalore and so we are waiting to see her visit RS. There have been speculations around their love life with some reports stating that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone might have broken up. It will be interesting to see the two get together and quash all these rumours!
