3rd scene. Abha dying on the operation table and diyas going off. Doc saying to Jagat he was unable to save her.

Part 1
Vrinda without makeup and hair tied in ponytail, is leaning against a column in the living room looking sad. Her mobile rings.
Its Vikram.
Vrinda: hello
Vikram: Helloji. Congratulations to you. In brother's wedding, sister has a new outlook. Isn't it?

In a garden, Banu is sitting on a chair drinking tea and reading . A mobile rings. His servant answers. Its Vikram wanting to talk with mother. Servant informs him that mother has gone to temple. He talks to his father Banu instead.
Banu: Ah son, remembered your father.
Vikram: Bauji, I always remember you. I wanted to call yesterday and talk to you but I knew it was Jagat uncle's daughter's wedding so you would be busy there.
Banu is stonefaced.
Vikram: So Bauji, how was the wedding?
Banu: Forget about all that, you tell me how your training is coming along? Vikram: Bauji, the training is coming along fine. But I am feeling that everything there is not fine.
Banu, Arrey Son, yaar its nothing as such. You are not having any trouble there ?
Vikram: No
Banu pratab's mobile rings whilst he is talking to Vikram on the other phone and says goodbye to Vikram.
Banu answers his mobile.
Banu: What is the news?
Vikram is feeling confused. He says to himself that as usual Bauji has no time for him.
Banu gets up from his chair.
Banu: Now Kashinath is a goner. Listen Madan (servant) start the protest outside Kashinath's house. Kashinath murdabad! Banu pratab zindabad.
Back in Pandey residence.
Sharada walking in the living room. Vrinda is standing against the pillar. They both stand outside Kashinath's door. Sharada bangs on the door with her palms.
Sharada: Open the door Pandeyji.
Kashinath is sitting on his rocking chair with the most forlorn and saddest look on his face. Lost in his own thoughts.
Outside Sharada is banging asking him to open the door. Vrinda also begs her father to open the door.
Sharada: Why aren't you opening the door. At this time we need you the most. Open the door Pandeyji.
On the second floor balcony overlooking the door to Pandey's room, Jiji and Shakti come and stand there to watch. Jiji tells Shakti
Jiji: When all doors are closing, whether this door opens or not what difference does it make

They both smirk and leave.

Jiji and Shakti are coming down the steps. Sharada and Vrinda are walking across the hall and Banupratab arrives with Madan into Pandey residence. Sharada faces him.
Sharada: you said a lot at the wedding. There is nothing left to say or hear. We are worried. Kashinath stirs from his dazed state.
She folds her hands in front of him and request that he leave them to their condition. Anyways, I am getting late. I have to go to hospital to meet Abha. Banu pratab stops her from leaving.
Banu: We go to meet living people. A dead body is cremated.
Kashinath raises his head in shock. Everyone is shocked.
Banu: Abha's breath has left the body. She gave a big sacrifice. She gave up her last breath in a Benaras hospital. But there was no one there to put two drops of ganga jaal in her mouth. No one of her own was there.
Wearing the wedding bridal red clothes, to enter in this house she was suppose to. At least take the white saree and cover her.
They say after wedding, a new life begins. But you people took away her breath/prana before she could begin her new life.
You guys have committed a very big sin. A very big sin. Ramji will never do good to you all. If we write the good deeds of Pandey family then we will have a shortage of paper.
This is the marriage certificate of Aditya and Sanya. Legal. marriage certificate. Go tell Kashinath Pandey all this. Tell him that Sanya is not a made up drama of Banu pratab. Instead she is the black actions of his son.

Outside the mobsters break the windows.

The mob is outside the gate. There is a fire burning and they are shouting kashinath's name. They are carrying an effigy of Kashinath.
Nimay shouts from upstairs asking why people are throwing stones.
Sharada is worried. She tells Shakti to go upstairs and take care of Nimay. Sharada and Vrinda shout for Shankar.
Jiji: This was bound to happen.
Sharada shouts to the guards to close the outside gates.
Vrinda is knocking on Bauji's door asking him to open them.
Kashinath opens the door. He comes out. Vrinda is relieved to see him. She goes to him.
Kashinath: Tell your mother that not only our daughter in law but also our son Aditya is dead.
Kashinath walks toward the door. Sharada asks him where he is going but he keeps walking. She tells him there is a mob outside.
On the way he steps on the photograph and wedding certificate of Aditya and Sanya lying on the floor.
Sharada: banu pratab has instigated the people such that they cannot discern the truth.
Sharada doesn't allow him to go out but he moves her hand away.
Jiji comes to stop him.
Jiji: Kashinath, in your darbar you met out punishment with great pride. Now the court is outside the house and the criminal is hiding inside the house. You give out justice. Go out and proclaim the punishment. You are the criminal.
Sharada gives him a rifle to protect himself.
Nimay tells his Nanaji not to go.
But Kashinath goes without the rifle.
Sharada instructs the guard to go with him.
Sharada and Vrinda follow to the door, whilst Jiji and Shakti look smug and smirk.
The mob is chanting Banu Pratab zindabad. Banu is seated in his car looking happy repeating Banu Pratab zindabad. He laughs.
The mob chants Kashinath Pandey murdabad.
Kashinath comes out to the porch and puts his hands up.
He walks down the steps onto the pathway.
Sharada is feeling scared should something happen to kashinath. Vrinda assures her mother that Bauji will be okay because he has the Lord's blessings.
As the mob sees Kashinath approaching they stop chanting.
Banu pratab is angry with the mobsters and curses them because they got quiet after seeing Kashinath approaching. Banu puts on his sunglasses and drives away.
Meanwhile, Kashinath goes out through the gates and gets into his white car. The mobsters just watch quietly. He leaves with the guards.
Sharada and Vrinda watch from the doorway.
Part 3
Shankar is sitting in the mandir leaned against a pillar, he is recalling Aditya.
Flashback:
Aditya : Your brother is telling you, there is one like Shankar. If you want I can write and sign on a paper.
Present:
Shankar to himself: That means in this praise of me, your cowardice/weakness was hidden, bhaiya. And I didn't even realize. You become so weak. How could you become so weak?
Akilesh comes running up the temple steps calling out Shankar's name.
Shankar: Akilesh , you!
Akilesh: Come quickly Shankar, Dehdahji..
Shankar: What about Dehdahji..?
Akilesh: Big thing has happened, yaar. Banu pratab has sent his men to riot outside your house because Abha has died.
Shankar: What!
A prayer plate falls in the background.
Sanya turns.She is standing in front of the dieties.
Shankar and Akilesh run to her.
Sanya in shocked: Oh dear, What has happened? Aditya, how did this happen. Shankar please take me to Amma, I fold my hands in front of you. Shankar: For the sake of Aditya I am protecting you. Akilesh you stay here. I will go and see what is happening there.
Akilesh: Shankar, keep this with you as you might need it. Its a gun.
Sanya squats down crying and distressed.
The white car carrying Kashinath stops outside the police station.
Kashinath gets down and walks toward the police chief. In the background the mob is chanting death to Kashinath.
Kashinath folds his hands in front of the police chief. Then he announces to the mob " I Kashinath Pandey hold myself responsible for the death of my daughter in law. That is why I am surrendering myself to the hands of the law" Kashinath hold up his hands in front of the police chief, ready for the handcuffs. Arrest me!" In the background the mob is now chanting Dehdahji ko dhoka.

Fantastic performance by Vinod Khanna , Smriti Irani , Gauri Nigudkar, Sahbaaz Khan and Sidh Makkar.
Vinod Khanna didn't have very many lines he just spoke through his actions. It was tremendous. 😊
