Gunday VS Dishoom

With both Ranveer and Varun vying for superstardom, I thought why not take a look at their movies.

If law is considered Gunday and Dishoom could be declared as movies with diametrically opposing theme. One had leads playing coal robbers, other was a cop buddy tale. But there were more than few similarity. One of which 2 male actors in parallel lead and 1 female actor. The movie incidentally also had male and female actors on opposite side of law.

While Gunday was more on serious side than Dishoom, it was not dull. And there were lot of eye candy moment in the movie with shirtless Ranveer and Arjun, who play chaddi buddies, running around in shinny chest..

While lighter Dishoom may have relied on its odd couple moment with enthusiastic Varun and scowling John, both provided ample ogling moment and laughs in equal measure.

Jacki and Priyanka lended their hand and their oomph to on-going shenanigans. And yes the core subject of both movies - coal mafia and sport betting is kind of relevant and grim.

But at end of the day which movie was actually better entertainment of the two.

Varun has come miles ahead of Veer when stardom is considered, this year he will rise & shine.

RS's Gunda is considered one of the worst movies of all time according to IMDB lists 😆Even worse than Mithun chakraborthy's Gunda🤣

Both the movies you've mentioned, i haven't seen.

I suppose both offered entertainment value for some and rectal bleeding from sheer torture for the others. 😳

Do you even know why it got bad IMDB rating ?

I did not like GUNDAY. Dishoom was better. So voted for Dishoom

In hindsight, only good thing about Gunday was Tune Maari Entriyaan.
