Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father in ICU

NEW DELHI: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's father Krishnaraj Rai who has been hospitalised since last two weeks has now been shifted to ICU. He is admitted to Mumbai's Leelavati Hospital and till now Aishwarya was taking care of him.

Abhishek who was in New York rushed to Mumbai after learning about his father-in-law's health condition. According to the actress' manager, her father had a cancer history some eight years backs and it seems to have reccured.

Speculations about his father started doing rounds when Aishwarya and Abhishek were spotted outside the hospital last night. No more news is forthcoming as of now. Neither his doctor nor Aishwarya's team is willing to talk much.

We really hope all's well in the Bachchan family. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were seen exiting the Lilavati hospital last night. Yes. Pictures of the couple from the hospital have just come to us. Now we dunno if it was a routine check up or was it any health scare but the fact both Ash and Abhishek looked stressed has got us really worried. One look at the above picture and you will know what we are trying to say. While Aishwarya walked past without even being aware of the paparazzi. Abhishek exchanged a glance before driving off his car. We can only hope it's nothing serious. Let's await an update on this. Also read:

Meanwhile, word is that Aishwarya and Abhishek are likely to come together for Anurag Kashyap's next. Although an official confirmation on the same is yet to be made but if recent reports are anything to go by then it's going to be rom-com tentatively titled Gulab Jamun'. Turns out both Ash and Abhishek have loved the script and are almost on verge of approving it. Now it's left to see if they'll actually take up this film to mark their reunion on the big screen or will they look out for more scripts to pick the best.

He was hospitalized for about a month's time in Jan/Feb and was discharged later. But he's been hospitalized again and this time they shifted him to the ICU. Heard that his condition is worsening..hope for the best and wish him a speedy recovery.

He is an extremely kind and compassionate man, and he deserves to live longer.

scary how common cancer has become

my own FIL is battling it and seeing my wife i can understand the pain Aish be going through. Cancer affects the entire family. It is painful. Wish her father speedy recovery and hope she gets enough strength to fight this time..
