I'm glad she's doing other stuff with her life. I don't think that would have happened had he raised her. She was primarily raised by her mom's parents and sister, and from what I've read he was a pretty absent father for the most part. It seems that they have become closer over the last few years so I don't think he had much influence on her career choices.
