The latter part of today's episode felt magical even when everything was so simple. The magic that exists with this show itself is it doesn't feel that its fake or unreal even for a single moment. I feel its a documentary on Kohli family where we get the chance to watch the normal day-to-day conversations between members of the family.
Papa Kolhi isn't a character present in the show physically but everything is emotionally connected with him. He's spoken of so much that we now know his relation with his family, with his friends, his dreams, his passion in cooking, his bravery as a Colonel in Army amd also while facing the demons in the world as an ex-army officer, his trust in his elder daughter (Abha di) entrusting her with his dreams and passion. He's such a man about whom country is proud, family loves him and reminisces him with a smile on the lips and a glint of tears in eyes.
I think I somewhat understand mumma Kohla, she seems to have retired from all her jobs as a home-maker and as a care-taker for her kids. She's now a person who enjoys her life partying with her girlfriends and passing out time with her grandchild dancing away or playing chess. She seems to me as a proud mom who believes in her children and will definitely be there for them if they ask her to, giving them the space they want as adults. I personally don't take her as irresponsible, she's rather cool who turns slightly uncool sometimes when Abha di is in the question. There seems to be some backstory here, let's wait until its revealed.
Moving on, Abha di seems to have effectively replaced her mom's position in the house (helping her out), she packs lunch for Myra, hand feeds Rhea (Abha di's pampering seems to cover up Rhea's lack of attention from their mom), Rhea is upset as Abha di repeated the same question for which she slammed up Myra. I initially thought Myra is the binding force for this family but the focus is now on Abha di who resigned from having a dream of having her own family to the Kohli's (her own) is the family with which she's gonna stay forever.
Jr.E is always cute whenever on-screen but still he never seemed like a kid. He's just so mature that he has a hearing ear for his aunts. He is at par in brains with the elders at his home that he plays chess with his grandmom while he speaks about the mistakes committed by the older generation. It seems they have unnecessary patience in everything except food (Kohli mom seems to not have moved a single step since long time but grabs the food as soon as Abha di joins them with a plate of paranthas, I know Punjabi dill😆). He cheers loud encouraging his aunt at the start of her performance and also encore at the end, in front of a bunch of audience. Kids being mature enough seems to be the new trend on ITV.
Rhea seems to have found a true friend in Kabir but this is being misunderstood by Myra and now Nikhil became an add-on. Nikhil seems to distance himself from the Kohlis personal affairs for now as he thinks Rhea has found a lover in Kabir Miranda. Rhea and Kabir are like similar souls who have found each other in a crowd, they're themselves and are at ease when with each other, seems like pure companionship. Did the CV's hire a singer for all her performances or is the actress herself a singer!! I don't feel that a film version is being played, its like a real performance.
"Pigeon ki potty koi achha shagun nahi hota balki shani ko peeche laga deti hain", she speaks out so loud that Kabir can easily hear her. Kabir once again shows interest in Myra by handing her two files of professional and personal info, asking her out for a coffee-date only after going through his personal details. No wait, Is he applying for a job as a potential boyfriend!! "Dobara muskuraaya tho saara daanth thod dungi" is her line which probably reaches his ears once again. Her murmuring lines are audible enough to him, kya biology hain (his ears work too well)
Myra's boss is the irritating kind who comes up with a new disease each day and today its Zika, a disease caused by bite of insects like mosquitoes. Are the CV's obsessed with Brazil as the ML hails from there and this disease probably originated there and what's next, is there gonna be a football match in the show!! ofc I don't mind watching a football match in the future between Kohli girls and their potential men. Myra's boss tactically hands over a Lifestyle show in the name of sponsorer and our Myra isn't any less in brains as her own restaurant becomes the 1st segment of that show. Myra hosts the show, Kohli mom is once again proud and shows off too to her kitty party friends that she's getting interviewed by her daughter.
The whole interview was so simple yet magical that it felt real and I too could see Kohli dad at the doorway of the restaurant along with Kohlis (I meant to say everything felt so believable and not fake).
Guys, I sprained my wrist while doing my morning workout sessions and so please ignore if there're any mistakes or you din't like it or even if you felt its incomplete.
I might not be able to do this tomorrow if the pain increases.
