Well I don't know much about the South Industry but I once stumbled upon a video of a fight scene from Vijay's film(coin fight scene), and the audience was going BONKERS over his dishoom dishoom fight skills. He seems to have a huge mass following like Salman.

I think it is the makers or ddesigners fault. What it has to do with him. Personally, he is a gr8 guy who respects ladies, loves his wife unconditionally and good father without a single scandal or link up to his name
