My reviews in order of performance:

Rohit - he's never been in my top 3, but he has now made a place as my second favourite. That he sings well is a known fact, but today he was a stupendous performer. It's lovely to see his confidence growing. I'd have given him the golden mike, but I didn't enjoy badan pe sitaare much. It wasn't bad, but he set such high standards with badtameez dil. He's the one contestant who's showed the most improvement.

Mohit - I've always liked him. He's got such a powerful voice. My comments are almost the same for him each time. Punjabi songs suit him, give him a loud, boisterous and high pitched song and it's hard to find faults. That was the case with maa da laadla. For the oye lucky lucky our song he was almost inaudible many times, the band was too loud. Not necessarily Mohit's fault. Like I always say he needs to sing different songs - maybe a soft romantic number, a ghazal or whatever.

Revanth - at the moment he's got probably the best voice in Indian idol. He sings so well and today was no exception. But his songs were littered with mispronounced words. I'd understand if he had trouble with a sound, but so many! He's such a brilliant performer and this little thing can ruin it for him. Having said that, he's the one contestant who spoke little to no Hindi (during auditions, the other 3 South Indians spoke atleast some Hindi), so I appreciate his efforts, but at this stage it could be what makes the difference. Also I wonder why no comments from Anu Malik and Govinda? He was the only one for whom they edited that bit.

Tajinder - brilliant!! I've grown up listening to both the songs he's sung today. And when he was singing, the smile on my face wouldn't go. Yes because of nostalgia, but also because he was exceptional. Like it was pointed out on the show and in the comment above by Lizzie, it's not easy to sing in two voices, one after the other with no pause. And to sing it so well!! When Tajinder sings well, he sings so well that all his previous mediocre performances are forgiven. But like Lizzie said, he'll probably not get enough votes, these aren't songs that are likely to get a lot of votes.

Khudabaksh - this was his best performance in Indian idol so far. I have never been a fan of his. Whenever I listen to his performances, it is to find faults. Infact I've always thought that he's overstayed in Indian idol. But with today's performance he's made a comeback and how. I've always had a problem with his song selection, but today I'm happy. Humka peeni hai was enjoyable and you could tell that he was enjoying it too. Munni badnaam hui wasn't as good but overall it's safe to say he was fantastic today.

Maalavika - I loved how she mixed the two songs, what she did with them was terrific. But she is just too shrill. There's something about her voice that's a turn off. It's like she's trying too hard. She's now reminding me of Bharti and Mansi. Mera naam chun chun chu was fine (though she was super shrill) but when she started Eena Meena deeka she just ruined it completely. She's trying hard to sing everything with a very modern twist, and clearly it's not her style. I don't understand why the judges heap praises on her? She's like Sonu nigam favourite.

A note on the judges comments - I think they're not sincere anymore. Ever since voting has started I've noticed this, but today was more evident than ever.

Sonu was praising Revanth. Strange there was no mention of his mispronunciation. I understand it may not be a judging parameter for you, but it could be used as constructive feedback. Maalavika clearly ruined eena meena deeka, but she's like goddess Saraswati to the judges. The feedback just doesn't seem genuine anymore.

My ranking for today-

1- Khudabaksh
2- Tajinder
3- Rohit
4- Mohit
5- Revanth
6- Maalavika

Next weeks bottom 3 (in my opinion) - Tajinder, Revanth and possibly Mohit

For the first time, I see Revanths eviction as a strong possibility. If not him it's likely Tajinder leaves.

Paritosh Tripathi (Roli Chadha) was plain annoying today! Too much drama. Can't all this be done backstage? It's a waste of time. I'd rather hear the contestants sing maybe a song together or something instead.

I only liked Revanth and Shravan yesterday, who clearly didn't deserve to be eliminated.
Btw does anyone watch Rising Star/ The Voice? TBH, I find them much better.

watching rising star... I like the transparency in the show, colors made it a live show which is excellent and judges have 21% share in vote which is great... I think Indian idol and all other reality singing show should come live on tv...
