And Sanskaar and Swara are really losing themselves, once in each other's company they are quite oblivious to everyone. I hope they spoke in hindi, or else Thea must have had one very entertaining drive.😳😳So Sanskaar wants to make their love story a memorable one, but unfortunately the encounter with the Black Wolves might make it unforgettable.

The Black Wolves, they plan to strike with renewed and doubled vengeance, with Laksh now having a personal score to settle. Looking forward to the battle of wits and the race against time.

Yeah, Thea surely had a great time in the car watching the two lovebirds. Sanskar though haven't confessed but he's clearly claiming his rights as a beau, showing his passion, love, care,jealousy...Swara is responding too... I already imagined about Sanskar's plan of proposal. I'll try my best to give them a mesmerizing confession for our Gerua couple. And don't think of killing me when the wait seems longer to you. I'll surely compensate for them.

I don't feel like talking about Laksh and Black wolves. They can go to hell!

Sorry for the late update. This chapter may not live upto your expectations but please read this if you're interested in reading the upcoming chapters.

CHAPTER 21

24th December, 8.30 a.m.

" Attention everyone! As you know we have got a situation to deal within less than 36 hours. Our India branch has confirmed that the Black wolves are all set to strike thirteen capital cities tomorrow . All thanks to SSR and NB, we know the places they're planning to attack. Our Indian associates received all details of about Delhi attack that came from their regional meeting. We're not that much fortunate like our Indian associates ."Fletcher called for a meeting with the agents in the conference room.

"what information do we have in our hands, Fletcher?" Zack Miller(ZM), a senior agent in his mid thirties put forward his query . He, like anyone else present here in this meeting was brought back from his vacation on an urgent basis.

"We got the more vital information - the location, that is Water Welkins Hotel. We also came to know the approximate time of attack .These should be sufficient I think, whereas you all are trained to start from zero.Identify the attackers who have already checked in there. Along that try to know what method they are planning for their mission. As for example in Delhi they've planned a bomb blast in a multiplex theatre of Amber mall ."

" Heard their methods aren't going to be the same!" Mike wondered what to expect from them.

"You heard right MD! British chief of Black wolves had said exactly these words: We won't let anyone to feel safe at any place: be it the earth, the air or the water !"

After two hours, Interpol DC office was seen swarming with their special agents and other employees of administrative side.Sanskar with other agents were working hard to sketch their counter attack plan. Thea had collected the map of the hotel and the nearby areas. Fletcher had just had an appointment with Mr Bill Hernandez, the MD of Water Welkin Complex. Ayaz and Kiara were supposed to join them all in the afternoon. Swara too did her part by helping them with necessary formalities such as communicating with local police, security forces, informers etc.

Fletcher had notified Mr Hernandez about Operation Merry Christmas, who became terrified hearing the news. But he handled himself within some time, assured he would let Interpol take charge completely and arrange passes for them to go anywhere. Fletcher demanded thorough security check of the guests and the stuffs. Mr Hernandez was appalled hearing this.
"Do you know how many rooms we've to cover within such a short span of time? Moreover, we've to arrange a gala ball event, a pool party and a Christmas party for children tomorrow. Are you suggesting we should cancel all of them?We can't afford the huge amount of loss when there's a world wide recession going on!"

" Mr Hernandez, I understand your position but it's matter of lives here! Please try to understand! If this attack happens it would affect badly not only your business but others' too!" Fletcher tried to reason with him. "At least cancel the children's event. Some terrified kids running amok amidst chaos is the last thing we want to deal tomorrow!"

He let out a deep sigh, " If you say so, Mr Fletcher! I really hope nothing untoward will happen tomorrow!" He moved his palm over his almost bald head to wipe out few drops of sweat which appeared even on the month of December.

"Don't worry. Our agents and police will reach there very soon ." Fletcher assured the freaked out hotelier seated in front of him. "We'll foil their vicious plan and catch them, at any cost. Please be alert and just cooperate with us!"

25th December 1.00 p.m.

"No Swara you're not going there!And that's final!" Sanskar looked exasperated as Swara asked about accompanying them for the 4th time . "You'll stay here only, inside the headquarters! You still have that bandage, don't forget that. "

Kiara who had returned from Ann Arbor just few hours before supported him, "He is right dear! You're still a vulnerable target." She paused for a moment. "We already have too many problems to deal with, so I hope.. "

Swara knew others were not wrong, but couldn't agree completely .Her heart was so busy in worrying about Sanskar's safety, that her mind forgot about her own, once again. " Alright! I won't insist you to take me inside." Sanskar sighed in relief as Swara seemed to withdraw her demand, " But I'm coming with you nonetheless and staying in the van.I'm sure TR can use few extra hands to monitor everything ."

Sanskar was about to protest but Thea supported her, " Thanks, that would be awesome! Come NB, I'll brief you everything. Come with me. And SSR, you can meet your ball partner EJ in the meantime."

"EJ?Ball partner? Aab yeh kaun si aafat ayi hai?" Swara wondered.She turned around her swivel chair as someone called, "Hey Lenna!" She wasn't too pleased catching a glimpse of the new mission partner of Sanskar, in her terms "aafat", who had successfully triggered her insecurities.

Lenna, or Eleanor Jones was tall and had sharp facial features complimented by her sea green eyes and auburn hair reaching beneath her shoulder blades. She had reported back to work, just after returning from her incomplete vacation from Ohio.

Swara couldn't avoid feeling forlorn subconsciously. "Stop acting like a lovelorn, foolish teenager Swara! Concentrate! People's lives are at stake and you?Sharam ana chahiye!"shaking her head, Swara berated herself. Soon she was immersed in getting prepared for her first official assignment. Her focus from Thea shifted when a conversation reached her ears.

"So EJ, your alias will be Nina Valentino, a gym instructor in a high end fitness centre."Zack was briefing the agents about their fake aliases for the evening ball. "And SSR, you'll approach Randall junior as an interested NRI co-investor in their latest venture,the diamond business. And your name will be..."

"Sooraj"Sanskar cut him in between, "Sooraj Walia!" and looked into Swara's eyes for a brief moment. She frowned. That name was supposed to be her private property, right?

Thea's voice brought him back into SSR mode, " You know how to deal the suspects. Talk with Randall junior and his girlfriend and search their rooms elaborately . Be careful! That guy is the sole heir of R&R Inc. worth billions and according to the news portals and insiders he's a pain in the a** and creates scenes ."

Sanskar groaned, "Do I really have to take care of him?"

"Oh no no no!That's EJ's department!"Suddenly Thea's tone lowered as if she was a part of big conspiracy, she lifted her one brow and glanced at a grumpy Swara for a brief moment." His gorgeous girlfriend is the one you have to take care of! Heard she made a lot of troubles during security check!"

If it was any other time Sanskar would've enjoyed the interesting scenario around him.But at this moment he decided to ignore it . "Did they find arms or anything that might be dangerous? Or any chemicals?"He asked in a serious tone.

"No, but the officer in charge admitted they had to hurry as Mr Randall almost started yelling at them. So you need to search their rooms, not l even an inch should be spared .These are the room numbers - 7003 & 7010." George Willis(GW), another agent instructed them ;he had collaborated with local police and Security service yesterday."The rooms are few blocks away from each other, quite unlikely for a couple who are said to be deeply in love. Here, see the locations in the map yourselves!"

"At least one of them is surely upto no good. I think the bad one is using the silly one for hiding secrets." Lenna commented, scanning the map that was laid before them. "I'm almost sure it's that lady, Miss Dora Hyatt. "

25th December, 11.30 p.m(IST)/ 25th December US time 1.00 a.m

Down the dark,deserted alley of Delhi Yudh was running for his safety . Blood dripped from his ached body but he didn't stop. He couldn't stop. Almost all of his partners in crime were left behind, either dead or arrested. Police and some secret agents were after the remaining ones, just like he was followed by a bunch of people in uniforms. It was a black Christmas for Black Wolves, for they couldn't succeed in completing mission, their "Operation Merry Christmas" had failed, miserably.

25th December 6.00 p.m.

Water Welkin Complex was a group of buildings formed by five skyscrapers, the Hotel being at the centre of them.
Besides the Water Welkin Hotel, there were apartment complex, office buildings, supermarkets and recreation centres. From the aerial view the hotel resembled as a C - shaped structure with a dent in the middle. The complex had
Potomac river running on the right side. Kokopelli centre for performing arts was at about 10-15 minutes walking distance from the hotel entrance. Kokopelli centre was famous among the elites who seeked the sophisticated kind of entertainment.

The circular grand ballroom of Water Welkins had ivory white walls and geometrical patterns slate and ebony marble floor;A cylindrical flower aisle stood proudly in the centre decorated with light pink, blood red and white roses.. The tudor ceiling with plaster and wood carvings situated four stories above from the floor and decorated with colourful spiral lights. There was two winding wooden staircases with came down from the north and the south direction which led to the upstairs. The railing of the upper stories and staircase were decorated with green and red Christmas garlands, lights and ornament wreaths, placed in between the luxurious linens.

Sanskar entered the grand ballroom with Lenna ,his dance partner for the night, . Lenna in her pastel evening two piece chiffon gown and matching accessories was all set to kill either by her sultry or crooked smile. Whereas Sanskar was no less, who looked dapper in his black Brioni suit, crisp dark grey shirt and blue tie. His jet black manes was set in a slick back hairstyle. A pair of Gucci black rim glasses on his eyes was an surplus; thus making him look suave and breathtakingly handsome.

As per their plan, Sanskar successfully managed to impress Bill Randall with his brilliant investment plans. After all once he was involved in their flourishing family business which he left willingly to fulfil his passion, all thanks to his supportive family.

Soon they noticed, Bill and Dora was like heaven and earth. Dora Hyatt was in her early twenties with dark eyes, olive skin and ebony hair. Her features and poise resembled those of a supermodel could have. She could be called as a epitome of perfection except her stares which were ice cold and the smiles,which rarely could reach her eyes. On the other hand Bill Randall was a man in his mid thirties, quite chubby and dirty blond haired .Sanskar could readily say, that man was head over heels in love with his much younger girlfriend.He was quick tempered but otherwise very warm and friendly in nature.

That's why Sanskar could befriend him in no time, to that extent that they were conversing over personal things."Tell me one thing Walia!Where did you meet your girl?"

"In a gym, her workplace . I was Few months back my doctor strongly recommended me I should lose my 120 lbs weight otherwise I can get a heart attack any time!"
"I don't believe this! You're probably the fittest man in this room!"

"He is, but not was before, the day I first met him. To cut long story short I pushed him really hard and he tried his best. "Lenna supported Sanskar's story, "So... you can see him now...All healthy and handsome."

The host announced the arrival of a famous latin dance band. Slow
tango music resonated within the walls, compelling the couples to hit on the dance floor.

"Mr Walia, can I borrow your partner for this dance?"Randall heir suddenly looked determined, "I think I should take some inspiration from you and some professional help from Ms. Valentino!"

"No problemo, Mr Randall." Sanskar turned towards Dora, "Miss Hyatt. I think we shouldn't let this music go .May I?"Saying this he spread his hand and bowed.

"I guess I shouldn't embarrass you by saying no.",She gave her hand to be lead on the dance floor. Sanskar was one who was guiding the steps, Dora only following the way he moved."I feel you like to be in control, don't you? Be it a dance or your own life.Why I feel you're not what you seem to be?"

" And what's the reason behind this... feeling?"Instead of replying Sanskar questioned back, his feet graced the marble floor with his rhythmic back and forth steps.

She curiously glanced the agile young man before her from head to toe, "I can't believe your...life story?What could make a perfectionist and almost control freak guy like you so ignorant about his own health?"

"Curious much,Pandora?" her body stiffened for a second as he whispered, "Better not to pry in my life Senorita! Who knows what surprises you'll find in the mystery box!"

" Trust me, Mr Walia! I LOVE scary surprises!" Her voice lowered as it resonated with menace. "Who knows,may be I'm also a siren in a soundproof room, just like you?"

"Trust me Miss chudail! I'd love to scare the hell out of you!"Swara hissed as their convo reached her ears, "Chipkali kahin ki! Why can't she mind her own business!"

"O God!"Thea shook her head and chanted, " Please hear my prayer! I'm never going to fall into this madness called love!Amen." Swara rolled her eyes and concentrated on Sanskar instead.

Springing into life,the violins filled the air with their fast rhythmical music as their master drew the harps over the strings with enthusiasm. The couples danced in faster pace moving side to side and lowered themselves, bending on their knees, matching the beats of the music.

"Does your Epimetheus know about this hidden streak of his lovely lady,Pandora?"Sanskar scrutinised her face as she averted her gazes,in an attempt to gauge her expressions. "Why do I think you're most interested in others than your man, who is already smitten by you?As far I can see you don't feel the same way about him like he does."

Both the pairs crossed their path as they circled around the dance floor in a planet like motion. "Mr Walia, don't you think you should better concentrate on your own date?"Dora hinted at Lenna with her eyes, slightly shrugging her shoulders , only to receive a smug grin from Sanskar. He didn't miss slight discomfort appearing on her face whenever he pronounced Pandora'.

"See, a man of honor should treat a lady accordingly, nevertheless she stays for an entire evening or even one dance..." He kept on twirling her all over the dance floor, "Your hair is spectacular, I must admit! I'm sure Mr Richardson will love it open, not caged in that huge bun!"He didn't have much difficulty in guessing that she might be rolling her eyes,even if he was holding her wrists together from back, swaying slowly. And his Nymph! He smiled inwardly.

"I hope that wasn't your best pickup line!"Dora matched his steps and rhythm with grace, teasing him at the same time, "If that's the case, Miss Valentino will be your lady only for tonight, I'm afraid!"

"Sometimes things need to be let go of. Sanskar let her go only to pull back again. "If it's meant to be you'll find each other again!" Dora fell back in his arms,his palm held the back of her head. At that very moment the song was over, and so was the dance.

"Arghh! I feel like killing him! Kya kaha tha? Sidha sadha shareef banda!" Swara mumbled under her breath. She tightened her grip on her almost finished cup of mocha latte in rage, as she could see every action of Sanskar, hear every word he mouthed."Just look at him! How shamelessly he's flirting with her!Senorita! Huh!" The disposable paper cup of Starbucks couldn't handle the pressure of an angry, jealous fist and got crushed; almost spilling its remaining content on Thea's elbow. Luckily Thea withdrew her arm in the right time, all thanks to her quick reflex! She grabbed that ruined cup from Swara and disposed it into the bin.

"Relax NB!He'll be yours forever, Cherry! That guy had already imprinted on you!" Thea looked a bit exasperated and amused at the same time, "It's not the earth holding him here anymore, you do... He becomes whatever you need him to be, whether that's a protector, or a lover, or a friend."

"It's nothing like that,TR! Stop quoting from Twilight ! " Swara was mortified beyond limits as Sanskar was listening all of their conversation.He was connected with them through his mini bluetooth headphone and the spy cam attached to the antiqued silver button on his shirt. "Once inch more on the left side... of course your left idiot! On the side of her head... just a bit above her ears. Perfect!"Swara guided Sanskar as his fingers sneakily placed a hair pin with a spycam attached to it on Dora's head.

"NB, I'm already monitoring four suspects. Can you watch over these two?" Thea asked Swara to take over and fixed her reading spectacles on her nose.

"EJ, did you manage to pick up his wallet and the door smart card? If yes, lift your hand." Swara checked on Lenna just like she had watched Thea to do with other agents. Lenna signed affirmatively.

Swara couldn't help but get tensed for Sanskar. He wouldn't have an easy way ahead like Lenna, but backing off wasn't an option. Holding her breath she concentrated on her laptop screen and waited for this dreadful night to be over without any bloodshed of innocent people.

"It was nice to meet you Pandora!" Sanskar slightly bowed his head,not without forming a crooked smile on his lips.

Bill tapped his shoulder from back, "She hates that name, Sooraj! What a coincidence, isn't it? Me too think sometimes she should've been called Pandora!"He sounded jovial.

"Why do you think so, Bill? "Lenna questioned in a seemingly uninterested voice.

Bill wrapped his arm around his beau. "You know, she is most curious soul I've ever seen. Why? How? What? Where? These are her favourite words.

Dora spoke out in admonishing tone,"Stop it, Bill! You're embarrassing me!" She looked flustered or should anyone say, alarmed?

"You know Sooraj, she could be a detective if she ever wanted to. Be it any personal or professional matter ,I could never hide anything from her!" Then he lowered his tone and asked Sanskar, " Or is this what generally girls do? Snooping around their boyfriends?"

Sanskar's phone rang at that exact moment. "Excuse me. I've to attend this call." Saying this he left the ballroom.

" Nice timing, Nymph! Keep a watch on Miss Chudail!" He chuckled, " For it's time to sneak in her ominous cave!"

And finally unres for 21 - I had my fingers crossed, partly hoping you would not update before I got to unres the slot.😳

Very skillfully described, though Swara's insistence that she accompany Sanskaar and Thea's ready acceptance has me worried. Swara's presence did lead to a very humourous incidents with her fuming over Sanskaar's professional flirting (😉 ) but I am scared, she has no combat training, she is still to recover from her injury and her ability not to think if she feels Sanskaar's in danger, could jeopardise the whole mission, not to mention causing a serious heart attack to Sanskaar. I hope she behaves with reason.

So the chapter is all set to have Sanskaar search Pandora's room - are you drawing parallels with the greek myth, by using this name? Guess I have to read the next chapter to know.
