Will Kangu receive another NA for Rangoon?

Okay, I got it Rangoon is a disaster on BO but Kangu and movie got universal praise from critics. Based on that, do you think Kangu will get NA or will be considered for the award?

I don't see why not. 10 cr should be more than enough to buy another one.

Considered YES!

Rangoon passes the critics performance appraisal test ...which all the previous NA winning performances have universally, including her 3 own wins. That's a silver lining.

But like any other year, NA depends on who the competition is in the entire country for the rest of the year.

The year is still young so there are many potentially rich performances coming from ladies in Hindi cinema and I'm sure regional too.

However, she has another central performance in SIMRAN coming in September... from the critically reliable, commercially unsuccessful Hansal Mehta. His actors have won NAs... Raj Kumar for ShahId ...and the current front runner for the upcoming awards, Manoj Bajpayee. 😳 Therefore she is in good hands. Early reports from the production sources are positive for her performance. Let's see.

So she will compete with two performances for sure.

Winning... certainly not a slam dunk... yet! 😳

Else her fans will go back and revisit pics/videos of her last 3 NA wins. 😃

Over to the performances, which certainly aren't any of the ensemble's career-best. The soldier even requests Juliaji, "Stop overacting." Right. Kangana Ranaut does lapse into over-the-top bits and doesn't quite strike you as a woman of enigma. At most, she is effectively vulnerable during the occasional introspective moments. - SpotboyE
