Giving Top 2 Biggest Hits of the year is not easy, doing multiple films & bringing your 2 film on top of all films released is big achievement for any Star. Down the years have a look at some of the stars who manage to do this.

BIGGER HIT is measured based on Higher FOOTFALLS.

Left poster: No.1 Film - Highest Grosser of the Year - HGOTY

Right poster: No.2 Film - 2nd HGOTY

- Only Amitabh bachchan[1978] & Salman Khan[1999] are been able to give Top 3 films of the year in terms of GROSSINGs.

- Only star to give All Time Blockbuster & Blockbuster in a single year is Shah Rukh Khan.

- Only star to give this feat back to back is Salman Khan - 2011 & 2012.

- Only star to achieve this feat in a Decade 3 times is Salman Khan - 2011,2012 & 2015.

- Only star to have an ALL TIME GROSSER & Blockbuster is Hrithik Roshan - 2006

This year it is high chance that Salman will hit his 5th time feat with Tubelight & TZH scoring at no.1 & no.2 position.

He is working on that since 1988 how to get him in this list, soon you will find him over there, perfection takes time.

Stars like Sunny Deol, Sanjay dutt, Govinda, Anil Kapoor had multiple releases from their debut to prime, no one could achieve this.

There are often debates that does Akshay Kumar is bigger star than Hrithik Roshan, answer lies in this list, Hrithik being a 9 years younger to him is on list, he can't. In fact, Akki in his whole career never had HGOTY, but has done maximum films from the lot.

This feat is so tough to achieve that stars like Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, Dharmendra couldn't do it. For a Legend like Big B, to repeat this feat was also difficult, could do it once.

Any star can have 4-5 or 2-3 releases any year, to raise 2 films to top makes all the difference.

So happy to see Shashi Kapoor's movies.though RKAM and Waqt were not exactly his solo movies but chor machaye shor and jab jab phool khile most definitely were 👏

Playing 2nd or 3rd lead is not easy, when you have solo hero lead films also. Shashi over the time has gel himself in those multistarers, JJPK was his solo biggest HIT.

Like in Trimurti, Srk played 3rd lead, film opened to 1 Cr Record opening day, now we can't snatch away or say hey it ain't coz of him, even though main reason would be Subhash Ghai - Jackie - Anil combo, but credit is there. Like new dilwale, Varun was significant enough.

Amitabh in Sholay played 2nd lead, Dharam, Sanjeev being senior to him.

So u mean to say Hritik , Salman , SRK are bigger than them ?

Infact Raj Kapoor , Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bacchan , Rajendra Kumar appeared only once in ur list but Salman , SRK appeared more than once ...wah ...so they r bigger than these super stars ...🤓😆
